Update almost 1 year later, still 5 stars: This is a place I have gotten lunch at many times since starting work in the area. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I tell everyone I know to get Chinese food here because it’s just that good! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Hands down best place to grab a quick lunch .

Ordered lunch with 3 co-workers. We ordered chicken lo mein (spicy). It wasn’t spicy at all. Triple delight, the veggies were cooked perfectly. Combo rice and General Tso chicken and both co-workers ate it in less than 10 mins, so I guess it was good. Both meals that included shrimp had 3 total shrimp in the food. Crab rangoon was great

Dumplings were decent egg rolls definitely subpar orange chicken not worth it at all small pieces of chicken the batter was nothing special the sauce was mostly just sweet and not very aromatic. I would not eat here again at least my food wasn’t burnt or oversalted is the best I can say. If you’re the type of person who generally eats fast food doesn’t cook or have a developed palate you won’t have a problem if you like good food and like to cook this is not the place for you.

Food is good; pickup service is not. This is the second time I have ordered food for pickup and the items were wrong. This time they missed one order of Hunan chicken out of the three ordered. However, three rice portions were provided (indicating they were aware of the order of three entrees). And one of the entrees was supposed to be prepared extra spicy; however, neither of the ones placed in the bag were prepared as so. (The extra spicy ordered was even verbally confirmed on the phone during the order.) Frustrating to have to ALWAYS double-check every food service place because their staff can’t seem to listen correctly and then prepare the order as placed.

I went when they first opened and hated it, but I recently decided to give Mr. Hui’s another shot. Have been several times now with no issues. The waitress I had was great and made sure to keep our drinks topped. I’d now put it on the same level as Mr. Chen’s as they are almost identical food wise. Your paying more for the location here on Cantrell as opposed to university. I’ll definitely come back here though.
