Finally a great slice of pizza in DC! Delicious slices. Not big, not small. There’s no cup of oil running from the pizza. Very quick service. Probably because the parking is not ideal. It was so quick I didn’t even get to find the menu. You look and tell what you want. And go. Small small eat in space.

Being from the northeast, I’m sort of particular about my pizza. We have really good pizza up there… ok, it’s the best. So, when traveling, my expectations are low. This place, My Own Pizza, ended up being ok.. it was late, we were hungry, it was close to the hotel… we got a pepperoni and cheese “whole pizza”, because I guess they sell mostly slices… and one 16 oz soda.. it came up to around $40.. on the menu the pizza was like $25.. Not sure how a $25 pizza and a $2 drink becomes $40? Maybe Washington DC has some outrageous pizza tariff? Hopefully the extra $10 I was charged went to a good cause. Would I order from here again? If I were nearby, and wanted pizza, maybe. It was ok overall, except for being overcharged.

Great pizza here, ideal for a quick bite. I’m not sure if it is like NY pizza cause I’ve never had one before, but it was delicious. I recommend the vegetables with chicken.

This was a nice find and unexpectedly good pizza! I even liked their pre-packaged salad and cake. You choose your slice of pizza from off the display line and then they throw it in the oven for a couple of minutes for you. All of the drinks are prepackaged out of the cooler. The only criticism I can come up with is the choice of music that was playing in the restaurant. Maybe it’s more common in the DC area; but the song playing was dropping the f-bomb every other phrase.

Great place for a quick lunch. They offer several varieties of pizza by the slice. Service is extremely efficient and friendly. All our slices were hot and delicious. They also offer premade salads and slices of different types of cake as well. Sodas by the bottle. Very small seating area. Counters were you sit and eat needed a good wipe down.

Delicious pizza! Excited to have them join the neighborhood. Staff was super nice and we enjoyed the pizza. We ordered a half pep/half cheese and it was flavorful. I enjoy thin crust so this was my kind of pizza. They also have salads and a couple different desserts. There is a McDonalds next door if you want to grab a coffee or fountain drink. It’s not really a eat indoors place but if it’s a nice day you go across the street where there are picnic tables or take the pizza to the National Mall a couple blocks away. I will order again.

I paid for my order but I was charged 3.29 for a Mexican coke. The guy said that the fountain soda was not working and that they had to charge the price of regular bottle coke. After I asked for my money back, the cashier closed the register in front of me and refused to give me my money back. He said that the manager was the only person who could open the register. He blatantly told me that I had to wait for closing time to get my cash back. He told me that I needed to call someone meaning the police but for 10 dollars I was not comfortable doing that. I will never come back to this restaurant and I would like to warn people that do to avoid it at all costs.

Really good pizza! No complaints. Melted and cheesy on top with the right amount of toppings. And just the right crispy crust on the bottom; not burned or too soft. They had peperoni and sausage, my favorite. Plus many other varieties available. I like that you can buy it by the slice or a whole pie. I think the price was reasonable given location and inflation. They were out of calzone though and I noted the chicken parm is no longer on the menu. We were quickly able to feed a family of 4 to go for under $30. I’d definitely be a repeat customer.

A quick and relatively cheap option. I say relatively cheap because everything is expensive in D.C.

Good New York style pizza, available by the slice, at reasonable prices. Helpful staff. Limited seating. The register will prompt you to tip, but tipping is not necessary here.
