Chicken 65 was not like chicken 65 but was good. Chicken tikka was mediocre. Breads were really well cooked. Mint chutney is ok. Amritsari fish and lamb biryani were good. Their service is very nice and thats an added star to the review. This place definitely has potential and will eventually become a really good Indian restaurant.

For the only Indian restaurant in the area, it’s good. The naan was the freshest I’ve had in a long time, the veggie pakora was crisp and flavorful, and the chicken tikka masala was… chicken tikka masala, acquired because (at 12:30pm on a Saturday) they were out of the dish I wanted. Service was prompt and attentive. The bathroom cleanliness was not great — water and hair on the floor, hand dryer not working.

The best Indian food I’ve ever had. Was at a work event in Saugerties and ordered this restaurant three straight nights. Had Lamb Vindaloo (good), Lamb Rogan Josh (Phenomenal), and Sarson Ka Saag (Phenomenal). Plus the Onion Kulcha was Phenomenal.

Not sure how I had missed this place. It will be my Indian food “go to” now! The food was spot on Indian and excellent. Nice clean little place. All good!

Ordered tandoori chicken. Brought it home. Chicken looked delicious but was raw inside. Very tough. Not edible. Tried to zap it in the microwave and it lost it’s tandoori flavor and became a rubbery mess. Rice was also missing. Also no breast meat. All thighs and drum . Advertised as 1/2 a chicken.

A wonderfully delicious meal. Basmati rice was fluffy and aromatic. Goat was fork tender with just enough heat. The garlic naan and roti were lovely to dip in the sauces… all the sauces A must visit for homestyle traditional Indian fare.

Good food actually, but the young guys in the back are Unhygienic and untrustworthy. Flavorful food but it’s a shame they have a couple of “red flags” operating in that kitchen, I know one of them and he’s no good. Can’t trust that place anymore.

So I have been wanting to try this Indian place. Slightly disappointed. The butter chicken has only a few pcs of chicken compared to the chicken tikka masala. My point of comparison for the taste if from Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Singapore and one in Seattle which were all hands down good. So when I first tried this butter chicken, my tongue immediately noticed the lack of creamy butter chicken flavor yummy goodness in your mouth kind of experience . It is butter chicken but it lacks the full flavors of it, it’s like it has too much water than the sauce. The chicken was not flavorful as well. As for the chicken tikka masala, it’s ok, the chicken cubes were not very tender. Overall OK. —Also, i went to the bathroom twice after eating too much of the butter chicken. So may not be back there for a while.
