First the grilled chicken was seasoned very well. As for the Okra Soup with the FuFu , it sit well with me! I took off some stars because of FuFu and we sense a little attitude when asking questions about the menu but The chicken was seasoned so good, we’ll go back just for that.

I love their food. It is authentic and fresh. I love the plassa and okra soups on Saturdays. The grilled lamb is also good. The service is hit or miss depending upon the person serving at the front. The young girls are usually pleasant and customer service oriented.

We ordered a large tray of jollof rice with lamb for a graduation party a week in advance. It was supposed to be ready at 2:00 pm. I texted and advised on my way and they said it would be ready at 2:30. I got there at 3:00 and the food is still not ready which is making me late for the party which starts at 4:00. The food is still not ready at 3:40. We used them 2 years ago for a party without these problems. The food was delicious and my guests were raving about how good it was and asking where I got it from. If they could fix their timing issues they would do very well.

We order catering from here a few times a year! Ms Mary puts her heart and soul into this cooking and you can taste it in every bite! Not really a sit down place, better for to go food. Portions are always a good size and the food changes weekly so you never get tired!

Wow! Let’s start there. The Owner’s Family was present upon my arrival, and they were so awesome and knowledgeable! I felt like Home when I arrived and I ordered a meat pie, fish pie, and chebba (a Senegal/Gambia Wolof Rice). Both pies were pleasantly spiced right with a little kick. The chebba was so beautiful with broken rice and it had smoky undertones that added depth to the flavor. Plus the JoJo Pepper sauce to turn up the heat a little more 🙂 Now, I did have to wait until I reached home to eat, or I would’ve ate this in the car had there been a plasticware/napkin packet in the bag. This Dinner made me so happy and full; Cheers!

Didn’t get a picture of the meat pie but the grilled lamb was amazing. We had to wait a bit which was worth it because it was fresh off the grill. If you have to wait inside be prepared for a little heat, I don’t think there is AC. The meat pie was also good but I’m not sure since we got there right when they opened we had to wait longer for that then the lamb. I would be back though to try different items
