This was our first time at Nemo and we definitely plan to make some return visits. They don’t have an abundance of seating, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation. The food is prepared to please the palate and the eyes. We enjoyed the wedge salad and the pear salad to start and two specials for the main course – the black drum fish (had never even heard of this type of fish before) and their short rib ravioli dinner. Both were delicious! Our server was Lynn and she has worked there for 11 of the 21 years they have been open – exceptional server with a fun personality

First time and will definitely be back. The historic building is lovely. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had the scallops, melted in my mouth. It was nice that our server brought me out a creme brulee for my birthday, so creamy, topped with fresh fruit. Perfect evening.

I have to say I was a little disappointed with our meal at Nemo Grill. We wanted to try a new restaurant for our anniversary. This is a restaurant in what used to be a house. The environment was clean but crowded. Not as upscale as the price would suggest. Service was not spectacular. We waited more than ten minutes to put our drink order in, which is a test for me. Ten minutes is too long when the waiter is casually walking around the room, looks at you multiple times, and continues past with no communication. Food was mixed. My husband had a delicious burger. He said it was prepared perfectly and tasted like steak. I had the lobster fettuccine. I was not as impressed with my meal. It was only ok- the lobster was too salty, the sauce not creamy enough, and the pasta was mushy. There was no salad included, so I ordered the Italian chopped salad. It was tasty. While this is not THE MoSt Expensive restaurant we have been to, pricing like this should provide a fantastic meal and I would just list this as “fine.” We probably won’t be back.

Nemo grille is an elite restaurant. Their combination of fine food, incredible service, and an intimate atmosphere, places it as one of the best restaurants in the Cleveland area. The salmon special is fantastic, and I love their stuffed pepper appetizer and pear salad!
