Ninfa’s Mexican Restaurant Menu – Waco, TX

Every day we continue a wonderful tradition by serving you and your family with the same affection and quality that our founder, Ninfa Rodriguez Laurenzo, established in 1973. Known to everyone as Mama, her legacy began in a small 10-table restaurant on Navigation, in Houston. Using her own pots and pans, she created this world-renowned tradition of serving great food and delicious Margaritas.

Mama Ninfa left us a legacy that is about more than just wonderful food – she taught us to embrace everyone around us as family. Through her actions she showed just how much one person can do in this world, and how each of us can touch the lives of so many people.

We at Ninfa’s pledge to continue the established tradition set by our Founder.

This lively, venerable option for cocktails & Mexican dishes features high ceilings & a cool vibe. Based on 3 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $$

While traveling for work I had the chance to stop by this beautiful Mexican restaurant in Waco. Not Tex-Mex but Mexican. We had a great time, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. I noticed the use a multi-server system where there are several people checking on you as you dine. Excellent experience, I am certainly going to drop in the next time I am in Waco.

Ninfa’s is a Houston Tex-Mex staple. They serve some of the most popular Tex-Mex food in the state. While very popular thanks to their large portions and wonderful fun family atmosphere, that doesn’t mean the food is great. It’s fine, and that’s okay. The fajitas arrive sizzling and succulent, but every other dish has pretty basic flavor. You can likely find very similar food at a much lower price point around town. Still, it’s a great family option.

Everything was wonderful. Sat down quick, service right away. Drinks were very good. The second round of drinks was a little slower but was fine. The food was delicious and had huge portions. Priced very fair. This will be our Waco stop.

Right now this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Waco! The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, the service is friendly and the food is very good! They seem to take great care to make every dish a priority. My only complaint is as delicious as everything is I feel the rice should be a lot better. It’s pretty bland to me. But the Fajitas are seasoned and cooked perfectly, the shrimp is large and delicious and the chips and salsa is very satisfying. I will suggest this place to everyone I know and I will continue going here.

We have 10 people in our party so we split to 2 tables. Friendly service, we had a great time in this beautiful restaurant. I ordered mango salad, portion is big and the source was delicious.

I really liked this place, the ambiance and decor is so beautiful, the servers were so helpful and courteous. My husband does not like cilantro on anything so they brought him a plate of avocado slices on lettuce, definitely coming again! We had the cheese enchiladas, Budlight and strawberry margarita! Yummy

We went during lunch and it was a lot of people so the only space available was upstairs. I got the enchiladas mixtas plate. It was good. Enjoyed the meal and visit but next time will plan accordingly for availability.

One of our favorite spots in Waco. We love the queso and the lunch specials are always spot on. Today we had the steak nachos, brisket enchiladas and crispy tacos. The puffy item on the taco plate is a puffy taco shell covered in queso, it is a unique item I’ve only seen at Ninfas..
