Came here after reading the reviews and this place did not disappoint. The breakfast burrito (w/ ham) was delicious, as is the salsa that accompanied it, too. Coffee (dark roast) was perfect. Great place. Great atmosphere. Locals frequent this place often, which says a lot. Friendly environment and budget friendly.

Fabulous place for coffee, Tea, delicious pastries and such a nice ambiance with a friendly staff. Come and say hello to the owner Cathy. We are from Whittier, California and we would love a place like this in our area. We always try to support the independent owners.

Hilarious that reviewers thought that this was a burrito. I have to second a previous commenter who said it was the worst burrito they had ever had, and that there were huge chunks of uncooked ham inside. I don’t remember if there was cheese, but I’m pretty sure there was and it wasn’t melted which is a big no-go for me. Great service. No complaints about the coffee. Waaaack burritos.

Quite possibly the worst breakfast burrito I have ever had. The baked goods looked ok but DO NOT get a burrito. Giant chunks of undercooked ham and they just toss them in the microwave to heat them up. The salsa is also bland as white bread.

This cafe has a beyond casual vibe and decor which is a throwback to the overly comfortable environment of yesteryear when you went out for coffee to socalize and relax. The coffee is good. The pastries are home made. The service is quick. There is wifi. You can sit inside or outside. The outside seating is a big plus if you just finished a run or mountain bike in Nisene Marks State Park. This is the antithesis of the urban chic of get it and go. Go here if you enjoy spending time with your coffee and friends, or you just want to chill after your run or ride in Nisene Marks.

Great customer service! I order a chai tea and didn’t know it was the spicy one. I wanted it sweeter. So they took care of me. Also the breakfast croissant sandwich was very good. Fast home made.

support your local coffee shop! the owner is a fantastic human being and has been my neighbor for years. when Starbucks opened up across the street, I was worried that people were going to stop going to this gem and only frequent the corporate coffee place.

First morning of a 6-day stay in Aptos and I was looking for a friendly little cafe to have some light breakfast and coffee. Boy have I found a home. Cozy seating space, great selection of baked goods and self-serve coffee refills. The light roast I chose was full and very flavorful. Proprietor was friendly and attentive. Did I mention the self-serve refills? Thumbs up!

Got a caramel latte and a mocha. The syrups in both were…. Not good somehow. I don’t think it was the espresso that was bad because both had a similar coffee taste. But the caramel latte was weirdly bitter, almost like the caramel was burnt. And the mocha tasted watered down yet too sweet.
