I ordered from here for the first time to support the family whose child attends the same elementary school as my son. This will also be the LAST time I go. We just had some restrictions eased due to covid-19 with restaurants only a few days ago, but masks and gloves are still required indefinitely. There was one man and a woman outside talking without wearing a mask. Okay, they could have been coming or going from any of the businesses in the strip mall. Yet, when I went inside, literally NO ONE was wearing a mask. There was a customer sitting at the bar counter drinking a beer with no mask at all. The woman employee had her mask around her chin/neck area. The other employee was talking to another man on the patio and neither were wearing masks at all! I realized later that the man outside talking to the woman was the manager! YIKES! They did put on their masks when I complained and asked for my money back. Way too late since my food was “ready for pick-up”. I am so APPALLED that they do NOT care about their customers, employees, nor the law!

Horrible burnt ends! I order these at every bbq joint that offers them, and these were BY FAR the worst I’ve ever been served. I can’t say “the worst I’ve ever eaten”, because I couldn’t eat the food! Hard as a rock meat. Never again, and wish I’d have checked the reviews before picking a place to eat in the food hall.

Pretty bummed out with this BBQ. Brisket was dry, chewy, and hacked up, not sliced into regular slices. Pulled pork was luke warm, and unseasoned. With so many options in the Windmill Foodhall, I’d suggest trying somewhere else unless they can turn their game around.

We stumbled upon this place looking for restaurants to try while in town. Walked around the food hall and my husband decided to get tritip from the BBQ place, he must have been out of it because he thought he got a sandwich but he was served a salad instead. The tritip tasted OK to me, they could have sliced them in smaller prices for salad though

I am originally from Texas and had the chopped brisket sandwich. I thought it was excellent. I had my sauce on the side (didn’t really need it in my book) The owner knows his stuff – I enjoyed listening as he explained and compared some of the differing recipes and ingredients used across various regions (ie, Sr Louis and S. Carolina).

Run. Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. The baby back ribs smelt so foul that I wanted to throw up. It was like rotten meat.

Honestly, this place is very bad. I ordered 1/4lb of pulled pork, 1/4lb of pulled chicken, & 2 of the jalapeño rolls. The pork and chicken were not good. Edible if starving, but not good if you have any other options. The chicken also had a rather large piece of cartilage. It was served with white bread (literally the cheapest store bought white bread you could get), and raw onions… Jalapeño rolls weren’t very good. Also, I tried to order a yam, but they did not have them.

Pulled pork was great got it with spicy bbq sauce (not that spicy but really tasty) mac and cheese was creamy got a side of cornbread was still warm after I ate everything drink options were limited (can soda, water) so that’s the only reason for the 4 star definitely recommend and will be back
