Ollie’s is a great diner. It has great specials that change every weekend and they always do the eggs well. Home fries are classic comfort. We plan ahead to go and have backup options if we’re trying for Saturday morning. Very popular and deservedly!

My wife and I are regulars and have been for years. We live nearby and have always been made to feel welcomed. The two young women Chelsea and Jess are both wonderful and pleasant servers who are exceptional in their efficiency and attentiveness. The food has never disappointed. It’s always fresh and generous portions. The head cook (never caught his name), will often wave or nod as we arrive and when we are leaving. This restaurant is our favorite place for breakfast and have plans to eventually try their lunch.

Love this place and thier food but to see the owner complain (outloud) about me wanting my eggs in a separate container. Well I was surprised. Over easy eggs on top of hot corned beef hash end up over cooked by the time I get home. I’d gladly pay for a side container as it was so important for you to mention outloud. I’ve eaten my share of over cooked eggs with no complaint until now.

Ollie’s continues to be one of the best local diners in the Providence area. High-quality food and well-prepared. Today I ordered the steak and eggs w home fries and rye toast ($8.99, a bargain!) The good-sized steak was perfectly cooked (medium) and surprisingly tender and juicy. Eggs prepared over-easy with crispy home fries and rye toast. Total bill with coffee was $11.87 plus tip. The service at Ollies is always fast and friendly. They offer a variety of tempting specials every day. I visit only occasionally but when I enter and leave, the owner-chef always says hello and goodbye, as does my waitress. Great place!
