Ông Lắm Bistro Menu – Seattle, WA

Type : Vietnamese restaurant

Location : Seattle, WA

Cường (Owner) and Sammy (Owner/Executive Chef): “Born and raised in Vietnam, my childhood was filled with vivid memories of my dad (Ông Lắm) driving me around Saigon to eat all the ‘OG’ food and I can easily say that’s where my love for Vietnamese food is rooted. With my husband, Cuong, we want to be able transport our guests to the streets of Vietnam through our authentic (but elevated) Vietnamese cuisine and our Vietnamese street eats atmosphere. There’s something so special about bringing people together through food and we want to offer flavors that are reminiscent to the ones you find in homes and on the streets of Vietnam. We want to share with Seattle, that there is more to Vietnamese cuisine than just Pho.

Based on 88 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $$

Came in and was greeted by friendly staff, ac, and a beautifully decorated place. The style is minimalistic and straight forward with the colors/scheme and the new bar looks great.

This new modern Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle truly elevates Vietnamese cuisine. I absolutely love their Xôi, Bò Né, and Vịt Nướng Chao—the Duck is cooked to perfection, and the sauce is incredibly tasty. Don’t forget to save room for their creamy Coconut Ice Cream. For drinks, I highly recommend trying their fancy Full Moon cocktail—it’s light, sweet, and refreshing.

Super cool concept. You’re in a nice enclosed restaurant space but it’s decorations and even table and seating options give you the impression you’re eating in Vietnam (except in a nice air conditioned place). Also, the food is amazing. Super fresh ingredients.

one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the town and when i went, i got the noodles and duck and it was very good. they make very delicious food and it is fresh to order. The place’s theme decorations are very unique and intuitive. The theme is a vietnam style restaurant with low seated table and decorations that make you feel like you are in vietnam.

Honest opinion: Pricey but food was decent, minus somehow I paid $20 for a sizzling beef steak with 1 piece of beef and exactly 8 pieces of fries. Not gonna lie I was expecting a bit more for the price I paid.

We came here early on Friday at around 5 pm for dinner. Calamari is probably one of the best I have ever had. It was fresh, just the right amount of breading, not fishy or overly greasy. The sauce with a touch of lemon grass was a perfect match for the calamari. We also ordered noodle soup with fresh noodles (instead of regular thin noodles). I am in love with the fresh noodles and will definitely come back.

Came here for a late night dinner and were surprised by how good the food were. The Pho noodles are made fresh everyday here. You can’t find it anywhere else. The duck noodles are unique as well. It’s my favorite. And last but not least, the petite banh xeo are made in smaller size, just like they are made in my hometown. Will definitely come back again to try the rest of the menu.

I came here because I had a craving for bánh xèo at 9pm. Their mini bánh xèo dish was nice and crispy and satisfied. I was not expecting the xôi to come out in bite-sized pieces. That threw me off and didn’t make sense to me. That’s like getting a bunch of shot glasses filled with phở. Interesting, but not my thing.
