This place is great for budget sushi. Downtown Salem can be an expensive place to eat. This gives you all the vibes: downtown bustle, the experience of getting your sushi from a conveyor belt (still fresh as always) and the experience of a cheap eat ($3.00/plate!) without compromising on flavor. The staff is awesome, go there enough and they will know you by name.

Sudden price change coupled with what seemed to be some old pieces of sushi circulating on the belt. The salmon on one of the rolls had a grey color to it, and the sauce had a more solidified appearance, indicating it was not fresh and had been sitting there for some time. Shortly after leaving, I had stomach pain. Service did not feel as welcoming as before. The waiter checked on other people multiple times and never checked on us the entire visit, only for initial seating. Sushi used to be as low as 1.75, now its 3.00 per plate. I gave this place 5 stars before, but after what I stated above, I could not leave it at that rating.

Tough go of things. But i will say it was cool to see the sushi roll past you. Down side was most of the sushi was just grab with different sauces. Seems like a great location. I only wished there was more of a selection

Had a kids show playing on the TV and no kids were in the room. Low variety on the rolling table to choose from. Ordered the incredible hulk special roll and couldn’t eat more than a bite. We’ve just had better and more fresh sushi elsewhere, but the service was super prompt and exceptionally friendly– I am sorry to give a low rating. All the rolls we tried were not worth the calories.

My wife and I stopped in here on a whim and are so glad we did. We found a wide variety of sushi at an extremely fair price (every plate on the built is the same price). Everything tasted fresh and wonderful. The staff is super friendly and informative. We will definitely come again.
