This is a great place to eat! It’s got the old country western feel and the waitresses are wonderful. The food was great. I ordered the philly cheese steak and added mushrooms and a side of fresh fruit and it was delicious ! My fiance ordered the tri tip with sauteed onions and mushrooms and he loved it. To top it off we had a few Coors light. They have local and domestic beers even mimosas! Semi and RV parking available also. Definitely a place for you to try. While you are there you can check out all the photos of famous people that have eaten there even Ronald Reagan!! Pretty awesome!

I stopped in to Pappy’s for both breakfast and dinner one day while I waited for another truckload. This was my first time passing through Santa Maria CA. I found Pappy’s is far more than just a great little local diner. My breakfast was amazing. For dinner I chose the tri-tip steak which I can’t say I’ve ever had before. Together with the Pinquito beans, the meal was absolutely fantastic.

We have been coming to Pappy’s since I was a little girl and I can say as a long term customer – this place is consistently good. We LOVE their pancakes, and their coffee is delightful. The staff is always friendly too. Definitely stop in sometime, they’d love to have you!

The burrito grande was just as advertised, tri-tip was super tender, tender as I’ve ever had, the burrito was humongous, or rather ginormous! the sauce they put on the burrito was super delicious the salsa was great, as a whole package, simply marvelous.

This is my favorite stop on the west coast. The food and service is always great with a nice hometown feel to it. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet. Friendly and delicious. Classic diner, sign says Pappys has been here since 1959! Good omelets and pancakes. Serving salmon and snapper for lunch/ dinner. Room to park my 70 ft rig.
