Excellent, well prepared and fairly priced Italian food! The staff was super friendly and attentive and thoughtful enough to bring out 2 sharing plates for my husband I- we shared the plate of spaghetti and meatballs which was sufficient for 2 people and left space for more menu items. The calamari was DELICIOUS and a couple of fried lemon slices in it was a good touch. The spaghetti felt like good ole home cooking without the frills. I can’t wait to go back!

a meal at pasta panino feels like a warm embrace from family you haven’t seen in too long ❤️. my friends and i came by for dinner after walking past the restaurant a few days prior, noticing the amazing prices and bustling, homey vibes and smiling faces inside. i’m happy to say that after dining here, we were so pleasantly blown away by the whole experience. not only was everything delicious (all the pastas had great balance and texture, and the polenta fries in the polpette polenta were divine), but all of the staff were so caring, funny, and made you feel like you were a beloved regular, even with just our first visit.

The newest jewel in our neighborhood’s thorny culinary crown. Pasta done casual but classy and priced right. You can feel the professional restaurant pedigree of the operators at work here. A balance familiar pasta classics with a little bit of noodle adventure. A glass of Sauvignon Blanc for $5.50 that was actually good, is a refreshing change to the typically overpriced San Francisco libations. Welcome to the neighborhood.

So happy we found a delicious spot in the neighbourhood! My husband and I are vegetarian, and there were plenty of vegetarian options. We got the Roasted Beet Arugula Salad, Capellini Pomodoro, and Creamy Pesto Linguine. The food was very generously portioned, well priced, came out fast, and had the perfect flavouring without being too heavy (unlike certain other restaurants). The servers were also very attentive and kind. We’ll definitely be back to try more!

Fantastic new Italian spot in the Castro! I was shocked at the quality of the service and food with how affordable the menu prices are! Great fresh made pastas and sauces. I can’t wait to come back to try a sandwich!

A neighborhood gem! Initially, I was unsure about an Italian restaurant in what had been a taqueria for decades–but I was won over by the delicious Italian food and the very reasonable prices! On my last visit, even the house red wine was above expectations–it was a delicious red to accompany the Italian fare. Already, I am planning my third visit and am bringing a friend.
