Came for brunch with some friends and had such a fantastic experience! We tried a lot of the cocktails which were all super well balanced, with the Lucky Lady and American Graffiti being the favorites. Started with the baked oysters that had so much flavor and were cooked perfectly. For entrees we had Steak and Eggs, Crab Cake Benedict, and the Chicken and Waffles. They were all so good!! Lots of great variety for the brunch menu and I would definitely save room for dessert!!

My wife and I had the privilege to eat here for our anniversary. The food was amazing, the cocktails were great, and the service was top of the line. We made reservations (to make sure we got a booth) and mentioned that it was our anniversary. We were surprised with a complimentary dessert, and a keepsake cutting board. Our experience here was truly great and the entire staff/environment made a midweek anniversary celebration extremely memorable.

I hate to give a bad review because it could have been an off day. It started with the bad seafood smell passing the kitchen entry. Then, the firewood smoke smell drifts across the dining room area periodically. Fresh baked bread reminded me of dinner rolls. I started with a classic French Onion Soup that tasted as if the onions were scorched, but the cheese was good. For my main dish, I ordered the rack of lamb and, for the price, was expecting to get a premium fine dining experience…. not so with the small but very fatty portion with only rosemary scented flavor and mostly burnt edges. Not the taste I was so looking forward to. The she crab soup had pieces of crab shell throughout the soup, which was very displeasing given that the taste was good. Again, it was not the quality I was expecting from a fine dining experience. The hanger steak is normally a low quality steak, in my opinion, but can be cooked nice and tender but not the case with the experience here. Very tough and chewy. The Filet Mignon was of good quality but just lacked the flavor. Service was extremely slow, given that the dining room was not overcrowded. Overall, my experience was a bit disappointing.

Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired because the quality of the food fell short of expectations.

Very good experience. I love rating 5 stars, but I couldn’t this time. I was a bit confused about how to enter the building. There are doors facing the street that are not entry doors. There is signage telling you to go around to front of the building (which seems like the back of the building). That’s not the biggest deal, but it’s a different setup.

First visit on a Wednesday night to try out this new place (heard good things). Not crowded, even though I made a reservation for one. Sat in the bar, with live piano music in the background. Quiet otherwise. Food was good. The main course, scallops, exceptionally good. I even enjoyed the Old Fashioned, not all places make a good drink. The real test of any upscale restaurant is on a busy night, Friday or Saturday… where quality and service are put to the test. I’ll be back again with my wife.

This was mine and my fiancés second time at the chophouse. The first time we sat at the bar, and this time we got the royal treatment of table service from Chris. He was an excellent balance of professional, personal, and comical. We will absolutely be back to experience his endless charms in the future. The food and drinks were superb, and the experience overall was unmatched.

Loved going here for brunch! I am currently pregnant so I didn’t order what I really wanted which was the crab cake Benedict but we had fried lobster, steak and eggs, chef special steak mushrooms omelet, and a banana pudding on the house for our anniversary! It was amazing and not that expensive for the quality of food and atmosphere!

Welcome to Gwinnett Perry Street Chophouse!!! Great big nod to Scott McCray and his team, y’all really hit this one out of the park. Not sure where the folks that left one or two stars ate but it wasn’t here, I guess you just can’t please some people . Service was fantastic ~ food was beyond ~ presentation very good ~ ambiance extremely comfortable ~ portion size on par with this caliber restaurant. Not going to mention names but the Steakhouse’s in Braselton, Suwannee, Buford, Duluth and surrounding areas better up their game because there’s a better option on the square in Lawrenceville.
