I had a relatively simple order. 2 bomb steak and cheese subs. One I wanted made just like the sign has it, the other add lettuce, steak sauce and onions on the side. Bro asked me like 5 times what my order was, if you adjust your tone, and treat your customers like customers, we could have easily got through that. Sub tasted and smelled great, but a little wet for me.

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years, since high school. Their food is always fresh, always cooked to order, never gotten sick, very fast service, cool staff and really good business. The variety is plentiful and they even have breakfast sandwiches. I don’t eat subs from anywhere else but here. I just hope they never move too far away, or go out of business.

I walked in and waited about 10 minutes before I was seen, plus I observed one of the preps (tall guy) with a watch on his wrist that’s touching the vegetables as he makes someone sun, plus I observed this same person constantly touch his mask with the same gloves he’s preparing subs with. After all of that, I decided not to order anything from them. Cleanliness is a must when dealing with food. I’ve always been a fan of this place, but if what I described is the new norm there, they will loose me as a customer for good. Very disappointed

I hate being this person but this has to be the slowest moving staff I’ve ever seen lol they had 5 people making steaks .. one person dressing all these sandwiches.. 3 people at a register for whatever reason. One of the registers was having a convo with someone the WHOLE time I waited the half hour for my one 9” cheesesteak.. then we’ll I finally good my food… SHEEEEESH complete trash Foreal and my fries were cold!!!! It’s like they gave me the fries when I first made the order! shameful to call yourselves Philly Steak Shop

Just happened to be driving in the area and stopped at the Philly Steak Sub Shop for lunch and it was the best sub ever. The shop is convenient to work and has the friendliest staff who were very helpful with assistance and suggestions. We will be back for more soon. Highly recommended!
