My second time at this place in 2 years of visit to colleges. Food is delicious, hands down! A problem I have faced is communication with the staff while placing an order. They kind of assume that the patrons would know how to order each dish with the best combinations and sides.

Very authentic Mexican food. I tried the Carne Asada plate today. The steak is tender and well seasoned, although the cut is a little thin. The sides are comprehensive as the standard Mexican meal combo. All taste fresh. You need to pay extra two bucks for the Guacamole, so be aware. The food is pretty, although the portion looks alright. I definitely want more.

I enjoyed the food I had. I enjoyed the way the steak taco was seasoned. I had ordered avocado on all of my tacos but only received it on one. Overall, I like the food and atmosphere. I will definitely come back and try other things.

I ordered a super size chicken tinga burrito with black beans, rice and cheese. Pretty plain and simple, just how I like it. It wasn’t in the regular burrito menu but I asked if they could make the burrito with the chicken tinga and they accommodated with no problem. I love that! Very tasty and large, a good value at just under $10. It was prepared exactly as I ordered it. And food was hot, fresh and great quality. I ordered take out and picked up myself. I will definitely return as this is literally 3 minutes from my home. Huge deal to be able to order slightly off menu without them getting upset or bothered. Lots of places get all upset about that or charge extra. Employees were very friendly & quick. Order was ready in 5 minutes. A little difficult to park during busy hours in that area, and they don’t have a parking lot. But I went just before closing, 9:30ish at night and parking was free & easy right across the street at that time. Definitely recommend for a quick dinner or lunch that’s much healthier than most fast food burgers or pizza. Located on High st Medford almost right next to Pini’s pizzareria.

This one of two Mexican spots in Medford that has very good food. The tacos both chicken and steak were real good, the chicken was probably a little better but still tasteful. The chicken & steak bowl I got also was phenomenal, The rice and beans were great had very good flavors unlike some places that have salty beans and rice, this place had done it just right. The smoothies were surprisingly really good, the papaya smoothie was really pleasant not really sweet and the piña colada was a little bit sweeter but it tastes just as good. The restaurant was nice and spacious felt cozy as well. The service is excellent and friendly and quick. Would put this place in the top 2 Mexican spots in just Medford. Phenomenal

The portions at picante changes based on who is working that day, which is unfortunate because it all tastes very good. Some days they will give you normal portions and some times you feel you got ripped off with how little you got.
