My favorite mediterranean place! Great food, good prices & friendly staff! Since I discovered them, I have gone a few times. Their hummus isn’t so thick, but it still tastes great.

You know this is my alternative to a hamburger. Best pita in the world. This is my alternative burger Gyro pocket with everything on it. It’s amazing and the price is a value. The pita is the best around town promise family owned too.

I’ve been coming here since ’06 and even though I don’t live in Northridge anymore, I still stop by anytime I’m passing through. My usual is the gyro laffa with rice and all the toppings. Don’t hesitate to do the chicken or a combo and they’ll do fries instead of rice, so if you’re a fan of California burritos, this is a great spin on that. I’m a bit of a purist but don’t let me stop you from enjoying every combination that Pita Pockets offers. The people there are great and the service is outstanding. There’s really no air-condition or ventilation, so I’d take it to go if you’re visiting on a hot day. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. You won’t regret it.

Great Middle Eastern restaurant. We had the Gyros Plate and I would have finished it all, but the generous portion of Rice was more than I could finish. I loved the grape leaves. Adding it to my favorites list.

For the price its just ok. Ordered the chicken shawarma plate, salad was basic and bland, comes with a big piece of pita bread. Hummus was also bland and chicken was tad bit dry from sitting on the fire. The chicken is cut up slices since its place in a spinning grill the chicken will dry up.

Some items are decent like the hummus and lemon sauce, but the chicken is as dry as saw dust and don’t bother ordering the falafel salad. For some reason that makes no sense at all, they chop it all up into little bits and soak it in some dressing with shredded salad so it’s just a big soggy mess.
