Got in around 10pm after coming in to Portland. Most places were shut, strolled in with wife and two kids had a laugh and great pizza with Mike and Rich as they gave me the ins and outs of Portland and surrounding areas . Sent the kids home with 2 pies on the house . Check them out really good place .

As everyone knows, it’s very tough to “rate” pizza as everyone likes different styles and preparations. This pizza was somewhat unique in that it only comes in a single size; a round let’s call it “personal” pizza. That worked for us as we all wanted something different. I drove from Yarmouth to pick up some haddock chowder today. I used to work in Portland and have purchased many things from the menu of Pizza Villa, but the cold rainy day put a craving in my Maine soul for their chowder! With absolute certainty it did not disappoint! The amount of haddock in this chowder makes it a meal! And the flavor is amazing! By the end of my bowl I was stuffed, but I absolutely had to drink the final bit of broth left!

First time patrons. Got there around 6:00 pm. Sat at a table for 15 minutes and no one came. Asked for a menu and told you order at the bar and listen for your name. Ordered pizza but they said they were out of pizza!! Ordered a sandwich and it took at least 30 minutes. No napkins delivered with the sandwich. The diet Coke was mostly water. Never will go again.
