Let me start by saying anytime I go to one of OUR establishments the expectation, at the very least, is that the food will be amazingly great. Well today that is not my experience. To be blatant, the food is disgusting. Almost as if maybe the chicken was from yesterday. Very dry, the charcoal taste was overwhelming, along with its awful presentation. I bypass “mainstream” (per se) BBQ restaurants in my area because I wanted that soulfulness included in my cuisine and it definitely wasn’t received. Lastly, the mask mandate should apply to staff as well. Or at least those with a visible cough and sniffles. This definitely wasn’t the experience I anticipated but it is what it is…

Tastes good but what edible meat there is on a sandwich is tough and the rest of the stuff on the sandwich is elbows and kneecaps. Also costs 11$ for a BBQ sandwich and Tea, (sandwich on soft white bread). Go to Shane’s ribs shack and save $ and your teeth.

Nice staff… The meat is very dry and no flavor. Wasted money. It’s a no for me. Not good and not fresh, food tasted warmed up. Chicken was definitely old

I had rib tips dinner. It was definitely good and I forgot to say no sauce so I could really tell. And it was still good. I don’t eat cheese but the Mac and cheese look so good I had to taste it and it was good. The stomach ache (cheese) I ever had.

OMG!! Worst experience ever! Rib plate dinner. The ribs were very dry! End pieces flat no meat. Ask for sauce on the side but they covered my rib tips in the sauce to cover ribs stale appearances. The peach cobbler OMG. The peaches were brown looking. Freddie close down or do better! Black neighborhood hole in the wall! Please to better. I like catering to my people but I don’t have money to waste like that. Sorry.

I paid 28 dollars for one piece of chicken and brisket and a soda. Food wasn’t horrible but not worth 28 dollars. I would say save your money. Not worth your money.

This is the $7 whole sweet potato pie. Tuh! Don’t bother. Everything else was microwaved

Ribs were absolutely amazing. I had my boyfriend get a half slab on Sunday since I was flying back to Florida on the following day. Thank goodness the initial place I first asked for was closed on Sundays.

The greens, mac n cheese and yams were good. My brisket on the other hand tasted fried, was a bit chewy and was swimming in grease. It didnt taste smoked at all. Ill try again with another choice.
