The manager is amazing she was training a new young lady that started and was great and patient with her when explaining. I’m a pain in the butt with my orders and it was the girls 1st day. She got it fast and it was all right. The mash potatoes was perfect they are great people here and food is made great and with care here thank you!

I normally don’t write feedback unless the service is either outstanding or extremely poor. I’ve tried Popeyes in a variety of locations, but this one is by far the finest! The young lady I presumed to be the manager was really pleasant and efficient in her service. She is fantastic with excellent customer service! I’ll be back when I return to this town.

We went there today for the first time ever eating at Popeyes and we will never go again. We walked In for carry out and waited 10 minutes to be waited on. We order and then get told that we could not use cash as they had no change. So we use our card. Then it takes 25 minutes for us to get our food. The service was terrible but the food… absolutely awful. The chicken strips were paper thin…. We also got a 4 piece chicken half regular half spicy. We were given chicken patty’s for sandwiches…. Not actual chicken on a bone. We spent $50 there and it was awful and not one time were we told sorry for your inconvenience.

Service at Popeye’s Chicken is never really good but today it was awesome. There’s a young lady at the DeKalb, IL store that is awesome Make sure your food is right and gets it out fast. I can’t remember her name but she’s the manager African American young lady. She is very very good go when she’s working.

Ordered online so order would be ready when I arrived. When I arrived at the time the app said it would be ready they basically had just started my order. The girl behind the counter stated that they weren’t ready because it was a big order. That’s why I placed it early. From what it looked like there was only a couple of people working so I get it. However, a 30 minute wait once I get to the store for food I ordered 2 hours prior is not cool. They shorted me on some sides too. The girl was polite, I will give her that. That service though? Only good thing about the experience is that chicken.

You are lucky if you actually get food here, since it seems they always run out of chicken. It’s not even like I go there at late hours. I went at 2 pm, and was told they were out of tenders AND fries. At 2 pm. In fairness, I have never had issues with staff ignoring me or things like that which other people have reported, but I do know it happens.

Kim was awesome! I don’t eat at Popeye’s often, but went thru the drive thru today and you can tell she is a people person. I’m hoping that upper management notices and appreciates managers/team members like her because they really are a dime a dozen!

I only gave it one star because I have to give it a star to leave a review. The first sandwich they gave me looked like they dipped the whole thing in the deep fryer after it had been sitting there for God knows how long. It had soggy pickles curdled mayonnaise and grease literally dripping off of it as you can see in the pictures I posted. There is also a comparison of the sandwich my daughter got to the sandwich that I got. Gave them a second chance going back to the drive-thru to get another sandwich. The second sandwich that I got was undercooked and chewy. I am very disappointed and I will never visit this Popeye’s location again! Very disappointing!
