Strange drive-through situation because it kind of shares space with another fast food establishment. So you kind of have to be careful where you park or you may get boxed in if the drive thru is full. I ordered a shrimp box and didn’t enjoy it too much. I thought the combo would come with a Coke but it didn’t but the cashier guy was nice enough to just give me one anyway. Much appreciated.

I’ve been here a couple of times picking up dinner for me and my kids and usually the services is usually awesome and the food is normally on point But this last time I was a little sad because they did not have any more mac and cheese or any fanta strawberry soda, which are the two things I usually go to Popeyes for and their biscuits tasted like baking soda. I’m still going to give them another chance because like I said usually their food is usually on point but I was really sad about the mac and cheese lol

On Friday October 29, 2021, at approximately 8:30 PM, my daughter and I visited the Popeyes Chicken Restaurant located at 1620 W Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA 91786. We began to enter the drive thru and saw it was blocked off with cones. The sign was not lit, but there was a sign on the board that read “Due to corporate shortages some favorites may be out. I then drove up to the window and saw employees cooking in the chicken. I then drove to the front of the restaurant where several cars were parked. I went up to the front doors, but they were locked. A sign on the door said due to staffing lobby is closed, drive thru is open. I then knocked on the door. A staff member came towards the door holding a box a food and bypassed the door and went to the dining area. There I saw four other staff members and what looked to be a manager all sitting down and eating. The manager had a black shirt. I then took out my phone and began to take pictures, they suddenly all turned and looked at me. One employee got up and turned off the restaurant lights. As I took pictures, people in cars began to cheer saying they were also upset. This is no excuse for a restaurant to do this specifically on a busy Friday night. Took me 10 min to order even no one was in front of me and guess what! Missed 2 large fries in the bag…. so, I had to ask for what I paid for! Finally I found out that she put least amount of fries i ever seen my entire life. I’ll never going back to this location. Stay out of this disastrous place.

Very bad, old food. Messed up on our order multiple times. Had us wait for 15 minutes because they claimed they were making the food “fresh” which was a straight-up lie. Gave us all wings and drumsticks in a 12 piece meal that’s supposed to have other pieces of the chicken. The chicken that we did get was stale, old, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Lastly, the attitude we got from the employees was horrible, which is NEVER acceptable to me. I’ve worked in fast food and there is NO EXCUSE why food and service should be this bad. It used to be very good, but it’s gotten progressively worse unfortunately. Not good.

After visiting this location, I can honestly say I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO POPEYES ANYWHERE. The Fish sandwiches were microwaved, they were a soggy, rubbery, hot mess. The french fries were disgusting, oily limp things. Now I know why the drive thru was empty. Seriously what a waste of money.

I’m certain I have commented before that these sandwiches far surpass my expectations that were quite high given hoopla of commercials… My only dislike about them is that the store closes at 10pm M-Th and 11p on Friday, but it really is a reasonable time to close, just sad for us late-nighters. The shrimp basket with some red beans and rice is a great addition to a sandwich if you don’t just want to feast on two sandwiches. One sandwich is really is a sensible sized meal though, so only if your eyes and appetite are in agreement is that recommended to do either.

I ordered the 4 piece which is 1 leg, 1 thigh, 1wing, 1 breast 1 side 1 biscuit and 1 drink. They gave me 2 legs and NO BREAST. I called them 3 times to see if I could bring it back and nobody answered just got a voicemail!

Just got home from ordering my food thru the drive thru. I specifically told the person who was taking my order that I want my fries FRESH, I said it 3 times! They had me pull to the front as if they were preparing new fries. My fries are lukewarm seems like they reheated them! Disappointed and wont be spending a dime here again! Train your employees to listen to customers orders and delivering what we request! Oh, and our sprites tasted terrible like they haven’t cleaned or serviced their machines
