The Detroit style pizza was good. However, they were charging tips without providing any services. It was more of a self-service restaurant as they only delivered the food at the table. Everything else, we have to go and get it, so I don’t know why they would charge tips beforehand. That’s the only issue I had, but everything else was good.

Yummy thick pizzas and decent happy hour deals. Located on the corner of busy U street with some indoor seating & great outdoor seating. A quick 10 min walk from U street metro stop. A new DC fave for a bite on a night out

I am obsessed with this place. I just moved to the city and I’ve been here twice already. I love thick pizza and this place just hits the spot. The patio/outside dining area is fun and casual. They have a decent drink selection (I’ve had cocktails, seltzers, and wine here before). The gordie sticks are good but the vodka dipping sauce?! That’s what makes those so damn good. My favorite pizza choices are the Motown and the 6 mile. I love the diverse pizza toppings and combinations. I will continue to come back here – I love this pizza!!

Their burrata pizza is absolutely amazing and if you get a side of homemade ranch, it is huge. Great service too and they have heaters in their covered outdoor area when it’s cold. Definitely recommend!

Detroit style pizza has quickly become my favorite style of pizza. Thick but light and fluffy crust, wisconsin brick cheese, and great sauce. I got the OG pepperoni and it was delicious. Whenever I walk by it always smells unreal, so finally came in one day for a quick bite before the bars. I recommend splitting one pie for two people if you are looking to keep it light. One whole pizza for one person will probably put you out of commission for a couple hours. We didn’t try the cocktails but they had a decent selection of beers. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and being off of 14th street, parking is gonna be difficult but not impossible. The staff is friendly and quick, I highly recommend if you are in the mood for detroit style. I would also recommend Little Beast Bistro up Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase.

Some of the best Detroit style pizza I’ve had. Get the classic cheese. It really doesn’t need anything else. Great happy hour specials. Half off a couple of their pizzas

This is a shout out to the staff at Red Light tonight (8/27/2023) – I believe one of them is named Tyler and there was another gentleman there as well. I had a medical emergency while dining (nothing to do with the food or wine at all, it was heatstroke from this DC summer). And they helped take great care of me with getting water and rags to keep me cool. Appreciate you all so much!!!

I ordered delivery through GrubHub. With tax and tip it was near $40 for a pizza, and it’s a big reason I rarely order delivery. However, after a long day I really just wanted to relax and have pizza at home. My one “special request” was noted but I didn’t get.
