Very small interior so kitchen smell definitely leaks in, after eating there our clothes smelled greasy for hours. Food is on the bland side but the curry chickpea dish is a pleasant surprise, wish they give less chickpea, more eggs and veggies.

Nice little breakfast spot. Food was cooked well. Light crisp hash browns, cubed up. We both had the eggs Benedict with corned beef hash. And a side of sausage. Will be coming back!

Loved the potatoes! Cooked just right and crispy. My eggs were a little bland but not horrible. Pancakes were huge and tasty and the waffle didn’t stand a chance. They were gone in a flash.

The food was great but the service was top notch. We are a large family for a small spot and the staff was attentive, warm, and efficient. It was also exceptionally clean. We returned again the next day but there was too long a wait. We had a horrid experience at a cafe around the corner and will wait as long as it takes to get a table here going forward. It’s well worth it to be treated as valued guests.

My husband & I stopped in for breakfast while on vacation in Rockport & this was one of our favorite meals. He had the Irish Eggs Benedict & I had fried eggs, corned beef hash & potatoes but the star of the show was the Coconut Pineapple Muffin that they cut in half & grilled in butter. We ended up getting a second muffin to go & ate it for breakfast the next day & it was still really good. We only spent 1 day in Rockport or we would have come back for lunch because my husband wanted to try the Lobster Roll

We were just up in Rockport for a day and were bit pressed for time (kind of our fault), and the people here were so understanding and helpful and got us out the door on time to make the train. Even without having spent a ton of time there, though, I can confirm that the food is great even when eaten on a train, the people working there are really lovely, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. And you’d think seafood/comfort food would be mostly for meat eaters, but they’ve got a fair number of vegetarian things too.

Amazing service, friendly and warm atmosphere. Food was delicious and serving was huge! I got the homemade hash and I can’t wait to go back for more!

Life long RKPT resident who has loved this place through various owners. Unfortunately business hours and wait times for food are becoming too much to handle. Often the site says they are open only to arrive to find they are closed during key summer business hours. I was there this weekend and quickly put in our oder (party of 2) after waiting 45 minutes I asked the gentleman next to me how long he had been waiting and it was nearly 90 minutes (for breakfast!) During this time the restaurant was less than 1/2 full and they were actively turning away patrons because they were so far behind… why? I dont know. When our food finally arrived sure it was tasty but the nearly 2 hour wait for our breakfast left me jaded. Disappointed to see this from a once iconic restaurant and a RKPT staple especially with how few places there are to eat around town. Hoping management can turn things around and get their restaurant(s) back on track because Rockport needs good places to eat

45 minutes from ordering until the food showed up. 45 minutes for an omelette, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns and a couple of English muffins. Everyone else in the place already had their food, so no idea what the hell they were doing in the kitchen that took them that long…
