We stopped here before going to the Prudential Center to see Bill Burr and Andrew Dice Clay! The placed was packed and loud, but not rowdy! Everyone was having a good time while enjoying their drinks and food. Typical German food, which had a good taste; I think I would visit again and try their burger.

A typical German beer garden:) actually not at all, more of a drinking hall like in the Ruhr area but larger. Good beer selection and a good meeting place before Devils games. Otherwise just a reasonable sports bar

good local beer selection and lunch menu with an authentic biergarten vibe. We had the “red bull wrap”, fries and Thai glazed vegan meatballs, all good. Our bartender was awesome and provided some info on local points of interest.

Stopped for a quick beer and a pretzel. There was English Premier League friendly going on in Harrison. Met a bunch of Newcastle Fans who adopted this now new Newcastle FC fan. I’ve been to many Devils/Ranger games here. EPL fans will drink the place dry. I’ve never seen so much drinking pre game/concert in my 60 plus years!

Rude lady in the bar, refuse to take my order. Leo saying hold on. While other people that arrived after me, she will gladly see. Never coming here. Save yourself the trip. Rude, unfriendly service specially if you look a certain way. That’s what she made me feel

Newark doesn’t have too many places that specialize in beer, but this is one of them. Many beers on tap and good german food. Centrally located next to the Prudential Center and close to Newark Penn Station.

Was in town on business and there weren’t a lot of choices downtown. Hotel recommended this spot and it didn’t disappoint. No frills to be sure, but the staff was great and the food was too. Got pretty crowded after the hockey game let out, but the bartenders kept up.

Outstanding service. Jose is an exceptional bartender. My first time here. So good to see Newark making a long overdue comeback.
