There’s this small town restaurant and bar in Hersey, named River Junction. Hersey is only 2 or 3 miles off M10, close to Reed City, and west or Evart, make a turn south at 180th Ave.

My husband and I went here for dinner; we never knew hersey had a restaurant lol we are NOT disappointed one bit. The food fit the bill and was phenomenal! We got the jalapeno popper cheese dip, fried pickle chips, he got the crispy chicken wrap, and I got the river monster burger with pepper jack cheese and jalapeno slices. YUM! the staff was friendly and attentive; the place ran very smoothly especially with there only being 1 cook, 1 bar tender, and 1 waitress/hostess and having about half the restaurant full of customers! This was a GREAT find!

Went for Mothers Day dinner. Food good, server friendly, however she does not clear plates from our table nor anyone around us. Was told your salad bar was a side choice in our dinner. Was NOT told this choice would add an additional $3.99 to each dinner. I feel this is False advertising and I don’t think this is right. Also I get that it’s Mothers day and you charge more, but then don’t hand out your regular menu. Have a separate menu with charges for Mothers day. I ordered perch thinking it was $18, when I get the bill its $21.99, my husband ordered steak and thought it was $16 and get bill and its $19.99. Our son had a burrito. Don’t tell your guests the salad bar is a choice when clearly it is…for a cost!!

It’s a good place in the little town of Hersey, MI. The new owners work hard to make it the best place they can. The food is good and they are willing to make it a great experience to dine with them. They try new things and work diligently to stay up to date with food and drink varieties.

I really enjoyed having lunch and bring my dinner home the food was amazing. Very nice atmosphere and waitress she was on top of making sure we had everything. They have a Sunday breakfast buffet. I hope u enjoy eating there was we did. OMG u gotta try the River Monster and mixed fries
