Riverwatch is a unique location for a restaurant. It appears to be sitting on a barge on the banks of the Ohio river. Large columns on the side appear to be able to move the structure up or down depending on the depth of the water.

Surprisingly, the food was great! It’s a bit expensive, but I guess it’s worth it considering the location. Not very crowded on a Monday evening. Service was quick and quite welcoming. Nashville hot sauce with an Impossible patty and some mayo made it a great burger/sandwhich.

We enjoy the Riverwatch floating restaurant & bar. The food is usually delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing and the menu changes a little every year. That’s a good thing if you want something new and can be a bummer when you’re favorite is removed. Their beer cheese is life and I smother my fries in it after I’ve eaten my pretzel. Because it’s a floating restaurant that’s only open in the summer and is located in the river, it can get pretty busy. This can lead to very long wait times in the summer sun with no place for shade on the ramp. This and the fact that service is sometimes a little slower than preferred, we love the place and visit several times a summer.

Family owned restaurant on the Ohio River. They are opened seasonally, so check before you go They have a lot of options on the menu and the food was great. Definitely a nice, casual place to kickback and relax. There is a parking lot within walking distance (pictured).

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was our first time going here. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the fish and chips and was very happy with how good it was and the portions were plenty big enough. Sitting on the river enjoying the summer breeze made it very relaxing. We will definitely go back again if we are ever in the area.

We enjoyed burger, buffalo chicken and fish for lunch. We splurged and had dessert. Thanks to the staff for singing Happy Birthday to me. Made the visit special.

Nice seating right out on the river. I suggest going early before it gets crowded and turns into a party. Food is average, service is average for 2023, terrible for before 2021. Go for the atmosphere and relaxing by the water, not food. Beer selection needs to be larger.
