The view is hard to beat one of the best in Louisville. The service was great. The cheese on the pizza was just melted with few toppings and not much flavor. The beer was flat. I asked for a new pizza and the waiter said it didn’t look right and had it remade.

While the view is great, our waitress did her utmost while trying to cover too many tables, and our wait to be seated was less than expected on a Friday night – the food was kind of unremarkable or just okay. Both of the “on tap” items requested weren’t actually available, but what was available was good.

For the last four or five years, every time I have been to Rocky’s, I’ve told myself I’m not coming back. Service has been poor, food has been poor and the place has looked dingy and not so clean. However, I like to support local businesses and I went 1/29/2018 for lunch. It was the best experience I’ve had in ages. I was seated promptly. The new GM came to with parm and olive oil and to take my drink order. My drink order was brought promptly by my server along with a loaf of bread for dipping. I placed my order. Food arrived promptly and was tastier than I have received in ages at Rocky’s. As I dined I watched the GM and servers clean tables. Every item was removed, not just pushed around and tables were given a cleaning. Everyone was cheerful and I felt as if they were indeed glad to have me their. Keep up the improvement!!

My family and I went to Rocky’s on Saturday evening. It wasn’t too busy and got seated within 10 minutes. Got drinks rather quickly but took another 25 minutes to get our soup and salad. Service was slow as we constantly had empty glasses and watched as others around us received their food before us. When our food did arrive, mine was barely warm. I told waitress who said another one would be make only to be brought back what appeared to be the same one and same or lower temperature. Very disappointed in the food. Sad to say I had to fill up on the bread and oil that was provided. Otherwise, I would have left hungry. I so much had hoped it would have been better. I did not like having to pay for a dinner that was less than my expectations. I knew I should have went with my son’s request to go to Buckhead instead but was really craving good pasta. My bad decision, I guess.

Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our meal. From the first taste of their homemade bread to the calamari(best I have ever eaten) to the entrees. It was outstanding! Location is lovely. Service was fantastic. My favorite dish…pasta carbonara!

Not bad, but not outstanding. Nice view of the river. Depending on what you want to eat, quick lunch or a good meal looking over the water may determine whether you want to dine here or not. Good meal… go some place else. Quick lunch would be fine. Prices seemed on par to maybe a bit pricey for what your getting. All together not bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.

The host here seemed a little rude, he was getting onto a waitress for seating her patrons outside where they wanted to sit by the riverside and said they couldn’t seat anyone else there. My boyfriend and I were going to ask the same as well, but didn’t. We still enjoyed our visit, although the same hostess later was grouchy over having to wipe off two tables and even complained about it in front of customers. The rest of the wait staff and service was spectacular and so were the views. The place was very clean.
