What an amazing experience. There’s ample amount of parking spaces. The restaurant is spotless. I was greeted upon arrival and my order was prepared immediately. I’ve always wanted to go to Ron’s, I’ve heard great things about the location on Broad St and I finally decided to try the new location on Rising Sun. I ordered the large oxtail, rice, and oeas with cabbage, a side of Mac and cheese, and BBQ wings and everything was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!!

The line was moving swiftly but seemed to stop once I got to the front. Five servers behind the counter looking, chatting and laughing instead of serving. Waited 18 minutes before someone came to register to take my order. Although I went relatively early (around 4:45) they were out of most things on the menu. Not a good first impression. Once I got served, food was plentiful and a good deal for the price. Was able to eat for two days.

I am very familiar with the original location so I was super excited to give the new one a try especially since it’s closer…….. the food was TRASH!!! I ordered the large oxtail platter for $23 the pieces were small and most were fatty pieces w/o meat The plantains were old not fresh, they tasted as if it sat overnight and were microwaved the next day! The rice was a good amount but it was room temperature which made me real upset because I love Fresh Hot food always!

Literally garbage I’ve never tasted stewed chicken that tast like roast beef I am literally very annoyed sauce is very then chicken taste like roast beef.smh Mac and cheese taste like the noodles are barely cooked very disappointed.

Haven’t been to the establishment in years. This is the second location. Food is mediocre. Its cooked but lacks flavor. And they use canned sweet potatoes. We had curried goat and Snapper platters. Both its cabbage, sweet potatoes and rice & peas. The brown sauce was the only thing that had flavor. I won’t be back.

I’ve ordered lunch from here twice and it was edible. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and mac and cheese. The other platter was curry chicken with rice and cabbage. Nothing to write home about. The jerk chicken can use some more flavor. The curry chicken was large chucks of chicken. The pieces of chicken could have been smaller. The Mac and cheese is cheese and noodles, with cheese melted on top. It’s not baked mac and cheese by any means. The cabbage was boiled or steamed and lacks flavor. The best thing going are the prices and the friendly staff. If you’re low on cash stop through.

father God the curry goat here is DIFFERENT. I work at the bank down the street so I come often to buy my fav ackee & saltfish. I finally decided to try something else from the menu & now I’m HOOKEDT! Curry goat is nice & tender! Flavor out this world. Taste like home

1st Time Order on UberEats.. Friend told me about this restaurant.. Red Peas Soup,Curry Goat And Red Velvet Cake… Soup was a bit salty but edible.. Goat was very tender and tasty. Red Velvet Cake Smooth lol it was very good. Cake is a must try. I give them a solid 8/10
