I’ve been biking around Lake Michigan. I’ve eaten my weight in eggs and hash browns along the way and this place has the best breakfast food I’ve had yet! Definitely the best homemade toast, and also the best hash browns. The potatoes are grated with into a flat shape? Something about it makes the hash both incredibly fluffy and crispy. It’s really cosy inside and the staff are so friendly. The waitress poured me an extra big glass of water, she said she noticed I came by bike. Definitely worth a stop or even a detour.

Friendly country atmosphere. The French toast with cinnamon raisin bread and some extra blueberries was heavenly. Perfect place to refuel if you’re biking from Manistee to Traverse City. In business since 1958. How that for staying power?

Great stop for breakfast with fast and very friendly service. It’s a small restaurant with pretty tight seating, but we were able to get a table right away. Phenomenal homemade bread used for the toast. Probably some of the best cooked bacon I’ve had. Fairly priced as well. We’ll be back when we’re in the area!

Great biscuits and gravy, eggs were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The place could use a tiny face lift. Wallpaper is pealing badly, especially in the restroom where the seams are held together with box tape. The regulars sitting at the bar really have the place some country charm

We were heading home from our vacation and we passed Rosie’s and decided to turn around and have breakfast. I had the French Cinnamon’s Toast. My Wife had the egg omelette and loved it. Everything that came out of that kitchen looked amazing. In my 68 years that was the BEST French Toast I’ve ever eaten. Really.

First time here. I came here with a friend. We spent 3 hours talking. The waitress was very kind and patient. With us. In other words she was a sweetheart. By the way, the food was very good also.
