Food was excellent although the drive-thru line was wicked slow today 24 minutes from the time I ordered the time I got my food but I understand it’s hard to find good help these days. But the food is just fine. It was well worth the wait because the food was excellent.

What a great place. Busy but fast and quality is not lacking. I had the roast beef which I have had here dozen of times. Always amazing and tender. Tried a fried chicken breast as well. Moist, fall off the bone and tasty. One of my best fast food experiences I have had in a while.

My favorite restaurant growing up was Roy Rodgers. Moving to Haymarket Va and having one of the few remaining was awesome. But it has always been a below average or average experience…..THAT has changed! Today, my wife asked me to pick up some chicken for dinner. I expexted them to say sorry we are out or make it seem extremely painful to fill my order. In stead, Monica, who I learned is the new General Manager, went the opposite direction. She enthusiastically told me I could have fresh, made to order in just 16 minutes! How can you be upset or impatient with that offer? While I waited, she brought my fresh holster of fries to where I was sitting, calling me by name. I watched as she went what most people would say was out of her way to provide high end restaurant type service. She asked each of her dine in guest BY NAME how was there meal (actually most restaurants don’t do that). The crew she had working with her all seemed upbeat and engaged….so different than what we saw before. I usually don’t write reviews, but I was so impressed by how much of an impact Monica is having I just had to say something. Excellent!

This place has really gone down hill. Went here for a quick dinner. Everything was over cooked and stale. They didn’t put cheese on my daughter’s burger and when I mentioned it they did add the cheese, but didn’t melt it just put it on. The place was also extremely dirty. I had to wipe my table down. My husband went to the bathroom at the end and had to walk out as urine was all over the floor. Wish he went when we first went in as we would have turned around then. It gets worse, in the middle of the night 3 out of our family of 4 spent 2 hours throwing up. I tried calling the restaurant today with no answer. Hoping this review will get a response. Better yet my call to the health department will hopefully make a difference. Avoid at all costs.

If you’ve never done so you definitely need to go to Roy Rogers and experience their roast beef sandwich or double R bar burger, which is a beef patty and sliced ham.
