The ribs were tasty and tender. I’m a rib person so I judge a bbq restaurant on how good their ribs are they most definitely passed the test. I wasn’t a fan of the brisket or the Mac and cheese but definitely will go back for the ribs. Also another plus is they have BIG RED!

First, you have to check out a place that named “Rubbin Butts BBQ”! The name alone drew us in as we driving south on I65. Amazing barbecue! Cold beer! Great service! So much food at a reasonable price. We had the “KSO” for an appetizer, which is queso topped with pulled pork and barbecue sauce! Yum . Also, had sampler dinner for two, SO GOOD! Brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken! Loved their spicy barbecue sauce and the Carolina sauce best. Will definitely be going back!

We tried to eat lunch. Ordered rib dinner just. My husband ordered the sampler it was dry cold an the fries were to. We told the girl to take it off are ticket. Manger came out said he had eaten half the food not true an Said we were paying half. I told her no an she said someone is I said no. She then said someone is I am not. At that point she said get out an don’t come back. Very rude an at no point did she say sorry or ask if we could do anything else . Rude food was sad an no I will never go back.

If you’re looking for a lot of BBQ for a decent price you found the place. This picture was for 2, it could have easily fed 4.

We almost skipped this place because of the negative reviews but I’m so glad we gave them a chance. Our takeout order was hot and delicious. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and huge. I could barely eat the entire thing. Our only complaint is that the sampler barely had any meat. It wasn’t even enough to fill the three slider buns. We will definitely order again but won’t bother with the sampler.

Cute name good menu. Drink refills could be quicker. We sat at bar and was our first time there. Devil eggs were good. We shared sampler platter. They give you huge portions for price. Little on dry side but good. They also could set few other flavors out for the bbq.

Fried pickles were stuck together, with raw flour in between, when we pulled them apart to try and eat them. The flavor was good, though. Spicy cheese curds were good. The spicy brisket sandwich and quesadilla were the favorites, along with the potato salad. The smoked wings were just ok. They would have been better if the sauce had been baked/smoke on, instead of just poured over them. The biggest disappointment was the waitress-suggested Mac and cheese. The pasta wasn’t cooked all the way and it was runny, with no flavor. The waitress was definitely running ragged, but provided acceptable service. It was obvious she was working hard, stressed, and frazzled, mixing up a couple of things (drinks, and someone else’s food), at our table. We had purchased a $50 certificate for $25, from a WDRB promotion and spent almost $100, with tip, for four. Not sure if we will be back. There was a separate section of the restaurant that was super loud and sounded like locals having a party and shooting dice. Hopefully they improve and can increase their staff.

First time customers traveling through, waited an hour for four dinners while folks were served. We were told there’s limited fryers. Fried bologna is super thick and salty enough to give your heart attack, no sauce, dry bun. Fries were burnt, BBQ sandwiches were cold. When we explained this to our waitress who was diligently working to serve tons of tables she seemed overwhelmed and brought a man over whom I assume is the manager? He proceeded to push back saying the chicken tenders were fresh and so was the BBQ because he made it himself. He did admit to the fried bologna sandwich being poorly made. He proceeded to discuss this loudly when I tried keeping it a reasonable volume so we didn’t disrupt other guests. My husband tried paying for the food that was fine but the man talked over him saying he’d take care of it all and for us not to pay for anything. Obviously we upset him and he couldn’t maintain a professional attitude. It’s a shame because we really did enjoy the chicken tenders, cole slaw, and Mac n cheese. Sadly, we won’t be back but I hope his nights not ruined. Also, my review and others have been deleted from their Facebook page.

We ordered the family platter for takeout. we live 10 min away. we went straight home and the meat and sides were not even barely warm. The brisket was tougher than leather. it could have used another 5 hours or so in the smoker wrapped up to tenderize it.
