Ruins truly exceeded my expectations with their delectable offerings. The steak was perfectly cooked to a mouthwatering medium-rare, boasting a tender and juicy texture that left me craving for more. The Brussels sprouts, a surprising delight, were expertly seasoned and roasted to a crispy perfection, providing a delightful contrast to the main course.

First time customer at Ruins and it didn’t disappoint! If you’re planning on dining here, make sure to set up a reservation. We got lucky tonight and they were able to squeeze us in, counting the kids (both under 3 years old) as adults for gratuity. I’ve heard that the menu changes frequently and the food didn’t disappoint, but I was bummed I didn’t make it for their famous fries or burgers. The servers were all incredible and extremely friendly. I applaud their attention and kindness! The location is in the perfect spot in downtown Spokane. Make sure you bring change or a credit card to pay for parking! The restaurant itself was very dim-lit, intimate and decorated very well. I didn’t see / meet the chef’s but hats off to them! Every plate we had was cleared! Overall, Ruins was a wonderful experience. I definitely wouldn’t bring kids here again, but I would come back for a romantic evening or night out solo. They accommodated us with kids, which I appreciate, but it’s just not the place to bring them (no other table had kids and they didn’t have a kids menu, but did offer a high chair and a coloring book which helped).

The corned beef and roasted cabbage was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. It’s really refreshing to find restaurants with an inspired chef who can create a knockout menu with a solid foundation of technique. Very original, and very tasty. I hope to be back soon.

Very Amazing! Love the Riverside location, so happy to see this wonderful establishment survive the pandemic and evolve. Truly a menu for the adventurous as well as one who loves the simple classics. I had the duck, I have never even tried duck before it was amazing paired with roasted beets. My friends had the white fish with turnips and the classic meat loaf.

Nice little spot for craft cocktails and craft food. This restaurant/bar is situated in an old restaurant with diner-like vibes. Don’t be mistaken for the old decor, as the food and drink are on much different level. May be part of the appeal and intended by the owners, kind of cool. Came here for beverages one night and was very much impressed with the cocktails prepared for us. The pear infused tequila drink was one of the best tequila drinks I’ve ever had and the only time I’ve ever seen my mother drink tequila.

Restaurant week. Good food. A little pricey for the specialty drinks but they were unique and tasty. Was disappointed that only the restaurant week menu was available. Small and could use some updates to the booths. All in all, was enjoyable and unique for Spokane. We will be back and looking forward to the regular menus.
