Got delivery from here for the first time this weekend and we will definitely be ordering again. Good prices, excellent food, and fast delivery.

We went in for lunch, on a weekday. It was late and empty. We both ordered Pad Thai, one from the menu and the other one from the offer for the day. Needless to say that the menu version was 3 times bigger, something that is illegal in europe and dishonest, there is no offer there. The squid that we had them with were terrible, gummy, almost elastic. Would not recomend this place , with this experience.

San Aroy is our favorite Thai restaurant in Astoria. The food is always amazing, the staff is friendly and courteous, and they’re reasonably priced.

I’ve gotten take out from this place a few times at this point, and I would say the food is pretty good. I got the squid pad kee mao both times and the squid was cooked quite well which is a good sign. The flavor of their basil and tom yum soups is a bit cloying and uncomplex, but not bad.

So I ordered the first time on seamless, their new yellow curry fried rice to be delivered and I asked in the notes to substitute regular rice with coconut rice ; and the kitchen that time did it for me, and i’m not even joking when I say it was THE BEST FRIED RICE i have ever had. whoever took my order that day and made it is a genius, the flavors were insane with the sweetness of the coconut and the savory curry together. I tried to order the same thing a second time through seamless again, and a lady called me immediately saying that they don’t do that, it wouldn’t taste good, and called me “confused” when I apologized and said they did actually do it for me once before. I even offered to pay extra for the coconut rice to be made into the dish again and she basically said they would never do that and never have. so i’m rating 3 stars to mourn the loss of the #1 best fried rice my girlfriend and i have ever had, and for the rude lady on the phone R.I.P.

We had a really good time there. Food was spot on. We had the fried calamari and edamame for appetizers and I actually got the summer mango salmon. Really good. Customer service was very professional and always attentive to our requirements. The place itself is very welcoming and cozy.

Perfect papaya salad which is the benchmark I use to test a Thai restaurant. It was nicely marinated, spiced and fresh. Their curry puffs are big like samosas but I prefer the more standard sized curry puffs.

Great Crab Rangoon. Even though the menu doesn’t call it that. Would also recommend the spring rolls, calamari, fried icecream and fried banana dessert as well.
