The man at the hung up the phone when trying to place a to go order. Then as I walked in to place an order he just walked off. This place has very poor customer service. This is the quickest way to go busy by not even attempting to serve paying customers al because you are frustrated at your job. DO BETTER!!!! I will definitely share this with everyone I know. I work for a large company that usually eats here on occasion but that will change as well.

None of the food was pleasing, all very bland. The salsa and enchiladas sauce both tasted like a can of tomato sauce was opened and poured over. I could hardly choke my 4 bites down so I ended up giving up. The margarita was good. My husband did like his steak, but nothing else. Freezer items from Walmart would have been better. Waiter was awesome and very friendly and attentive

The food is bland, not seasoned. The chips are sometimes stale; however, the margaritas are excellent, the atmosphere is festive, and 2 out of 6 waiters have a charismatic personality. I will keep going back.

My grandson and I had dinner at San Marcos a couple days ago. I would give five stars all around IF the venue were not in such an unsafe location. Not only was it extremely difficult to get into the street to leave because of oncoming traffic but when I finally WAS able to get out, we noticed a white Altima in the lane beside us with two people in it, pointing at us and acting suspicious. They followed us closely until we got to the entrance of MCC where I noticed two police cars in the loop and turned into the college driveway. The Altima then sped away quickly. The food and the service was very good at San Marcos but not good enough to risk our lives for! I would love it if Chino would consider a second location maybe in Northhills or highway 39? I mean if El Norte can have multiple locations why NOT San Marcos? My family and I have decided NEVER to return to that area again with the exception of MCC.

Stopped in at San Marco’s for lunch while waiting on a mechanic last Thursday. The food and service were excellent. Great chips and salsa to get started, and the burritos were tasty and seemed authentic. Would love to visit again when we’re out that way sometime. Also liked the stone-look display of the Biblical Ten Commandments in front of the business. It gave me a sense that the owners cared about personal integrity.
