Service. Gets a decent rating for the experience that was had the evening I was dining here with my uncle. The server seemed to be gone for long periods of time without checking up on us every 15 minutes which I’m used to when dining out. They need to work on that. But food was phenomenal. I’ll be back for sure with my wife steak was cooked medium to perfection and beans was real good. Food get 5 stars from me I also ordered guanabana juice freshly made and that was real good.

The food was great, but if you’re planning on getting the chicharron with yuca, which I recommend, make sure you have backup cause that could be a whole meal. Normally I don’t like to take pictures of my food but this time I broke my rule cause I wanted to show my family how nice it looks before I mess it up.

This is the BEST Colombian food in CT. They have a great menu, the food is always fresh and delicious, & they take pride in the presentation of the food which I appreciate. The restaurant itself is spacious and they have a nice bar area. Unlike many restaurants that are small & better suited for take out. They also serve amazing coffee. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Love this place!!

Saoco is definitely a family favorite! We love bringing our friends here or just stopping by for dinner. Saoco is super accommodating when it comes to all of our large gatherings! Every meal is always so fresh and staff is always the nicest! Although I love everything here My favorite dish is the grilled salmon and Avacado salad with rice! They put their own twist on the seasoning for the salmon and it doesn’t taste fishy at all! Drinks and appetizers are also great here! I will continue to come here and recommend Saoco!

Don’t be in a rush to eat. Have a drink and an appetizer like chicken or beef empanadas to enjoy first. Go there with a group of people as the tables have the room. The dishes come with a plantain which is soft and sweet. It is a tasty dinner which there may be leftovers to take home. Order the flan to get that taste of the region. Service allows time for conversation and to make decisions about their menu.

My food was cold when I picked it up. Fine I’m understanding but when I pay 25 bucks for a plate I expect everything that I paid for to be on that plate…. I got all the way home to find out my fav part of the plate was forgotten. That’s terrible considering I like the food here. I doubt I will be making a return anytime soon.

I went upon recommendation from someone who highly recommended this restaurant for the best Columbian food. They were absolutely right! The service and ambiance was very good and the presentation of the meal I ordered was wonderful! I had the traditional Columbian entrée and it was delicious! I can’t wait to bring my husband there and I’m already looking forward to trying another of their delicious meals. I have passed this restaurant many times over the years and the only thing I’m sorry about is that it took me so long to finally try it, thanks to the couple who told me about how awesome the food was!
