Over a great place to have some Ramen in Brookline. The hot and sour ramen was outstanding and the pork gyoza was better than expected. It’s just too bad that the wait staff and food wait took forever. I wonder if they were short-staffed the day? I went because for lunchtime the place was near empty yet we had to wait to get seated. Once we did there was a wait to put our order in there was a long wait to get our drinks and food. I’m willing to give this place another chance I’m hoping that this is a one-time inconvenience.

The restaurant used to be named Migaku and now they changed the name to Sapporo Ramen (prob changed owner too) We were a little surprised but we went in anyway. The karaage remains one of the best karaage I’ve had (been to many ramen places). I love how juicy and crunchy it is at the same time.

My daughter who ranted about this place took us when we visited her at her college. I have to say it did not disappoint. When we arrived we were the only patrons. I left for two minutes to wash my hands in the men’s room and when I returned the place was crowded and a line had formed outside waiting to get in. They move quickly in here so find what you want, eat and get out. Food was great! Can’t wait for my next trip there.

Migaku is a presently small location with a relaxing atmosphere. We were seated for lunch immediately and our order was brought to our table quickly. Our ramen was rich, hot, and the ingredients were both simple and delightful. I would highly recommend Migaku to anyone looking for a delicious bowl of ramen.

We loved it here! Sitting by the window watching passerby’s stumble over their feet while slurpin up some Udon never felt so good

The days are getting shorter, the temperature is getting colder. Where to with Shawty? You got it! To this noodle house. A small hole in the wall mom and pop shop with an okay vibe, decor was not crazy good but not bad either. I am a very experienced local guide (trust me I have seen a lot of things 😛 )

Yummy yummy. This place is awesome. They have a really good variety on the menu and the ramen is super affordable. About $11-13 per bowl and the portion sizes are huge! I ordered the Yakibuta ramen. The broth is rich and flavorful and the tea egg was perfectly cooked. They are still offering indoor dining but the space is small and they are of course limiting capacity so keep that in mind before heading over.

I love the offerings on their menu. Quite unique compare to what you can usually find in Boston. But flavors and execution could have been better. I found the Sara noodle dish tasted quite bland and the char siu pork a bit dry

I really want to like the place because the place is clean, people are nice and I like the vibe. But they have only one vegetarian ramen option and sorry to say but it’s pretty bland. I hope they add some interesting vegetarian options! 🙁
