Was in the area so stopped at the Hingham location. Got the Smoke Shack Burger, Fries and the Blood orange lemonade. $18… please look at the pic and tell me where you see a $9 burger, ’cause I don’t. Burger was small, so small I thought it was a kids size… overpowered with cherry peppers so couldn’t taste the Burger and definitely no smoke flavor. Fries were mundane and can only taste sour with the lemonade. No flavor at all. Very disappointed in the whole meal.

I’m a shake shack fan, because they’re usually pretty consistent. This is our second time at this location but it’s another questionable visit. The first time, the kiosks were broken, they had so many things that were not available, shakes etc. this time I ordered a lettuce wrap shack burger and I got something that looked a little bit sad- a tiny patty and some lettuce

Not a great experience here. I ordered at the kiosk. I don’t like being asked to tip everywhere I go, but I figure if they’re bringing it out, that’s appropriate, so I tipped a little and took my table tent to a table and waited. Then they didn’t bring it out. Instead, they called my name I went up and got it. Ok, that’s all right, no problem. I was surprised to see that my tray was very wet. Not just a little bit, the tray liner was in water. That was odd. The food tasted fine. Then as I was eating, an employee reached in and took the table tent and didn’t say anything. It was not socially appropriate. It was too close. Then she did it to another table. There were a lot of table tents by the kiosks and they weren’t using them anyway. A couple hours later, I had some gastrointestinal issues. I don’t know if it was their fault because I ate other things, but I didn’t get the feeling that this was a well run restaurant.

Me and my brother ordered takeout consisting of a burger, a chicken sandwich with peppers, one cheese fry, and one fry, a shake and another drink. Not only were they fully staffed with at least 12 people. But it took them over half an hour to make my food. Which I had to go up and ask them when it was ready, because the automated text they sent me saying it was done was wrong. After getting home I realized they messed up my order. I didn’t get my chicken sandwich, they gave me two cheeseburgers. And my brother didn’t get his cheese sauce even though he paid extra. Extremely disappointed in the poor service there. Would not recommend anyone going. In the end I paid 38 dollars for a meal I couldn’t even enjoy.

I spent about 17 dollars on a Burger fries and a shake that was about maybe a 4 inch tall cup. Like how was the shake almost 5 dollars and i have to pay that much? also the fries being almost as expensive as the burger. makes no sense to me. i try to like it here even though i’ve only ate here twice. but i just don’t understand how it’s so expensive

This place is hit-or-miss. I don’t go there often but the 2nd and final time being disappointed. I bought a shake burger and chicken sandwich ($17.00), both were unbelievably soggy from burger “shake” mayonnaise and unknown chicken mayonnaise… I had to pull the chicken and the burger out to salvage anything edible, so nasty! Called immediately but good luck trying to reach a manager, goes to voicemail. Yeah with little or no supervision, you may get food that tastes like ash.

My kids love shake shack and we’re so excited they were opening up in the south shore. While the burger and fries tasted great, our ice cream was melted upon picking it up. It don’t come with a spoon either and was placed on the takeout bag with our burgers. Maybe they need to separate it from hot food items next time?
