This was my first time trying Sharks Fish and Chicken. The cashier wasn’t overly friendly but decent. The inside of the restaurant was ok but the flies were plenty… too many! I ordered Catfish but it taste like Whiting or some type of mild whitefish. It wasn’t bad but it didn’t taste like catfish. The coleslaw looked suspect and slimy so I passed and didn’t eat it. I placed a quarter next to it for size comparison. They didn’t give you many fries but they weren’t good anyway. I didn’t care for the hush puppies either.I don’t plan to return in the near future if at all.

I was very excited to learn about Shark’s opening a location here in Austin! I’m a Kansas City native and frequent the location there often. The portions were great however the quality of the food was not. I ordered catfish steaks, chicken wings, and gizzards and none of it appeared or tasted to be fresh. It was a very big disappointment and waste of money for me!!!

New spot in old Springdale, really good! Got the chicken tender dinner and they do not hold back. Big chicken tenders fried to perfection, seasoned fries and I’m not a big cole slaw guy but it was solid. Friendly staff too, will be back!

You can order this through uber eats or over the phone. They also take orders at the counter but I imagine almost everyone does pick up or delivery, such as myself, as the atmosphere in there has very gas station diner vibes, though it is not a gas station.

Amazing bang for the buck for what is purely a neighborhood stop. Got the Catfish and Shrimp lunch special for $9 and everything was perfectly cooked. Will def be going back and hoping it’s a tad cleaner and there’s music playing so it’s a bit more welcoming.

Called in a take out order for fish and chicken. The food was hot and delicious. The mild sauce on the fries and chicken, IS THE BEST! Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Prices are reasonable. VERY GOOD! GIVE THEM A TRY!
