I enjoyed the nigiri and specialty rolls.. not too much rice to fish ratio. It all tasted very fresh, and the place has a very authentic decor and vibe. It was reasonably pleasant in there despite the hot weather, but did get a little warm inside. Order came out pretty fast and price was reasonable. I would go again.

Started going to Shogun when it opened in Montgomery Village. Favorite place for my son, Scott and myself to go. Left Santa Rosa and just went there on a visit after 20 plus years and it didn’t let my son and I down. It was fantastic and tasted just the same – great! The best miso soup ever and I live in Vegas ! Thank you for not letting us down!

Ordered online for pick up and the gentleman, whom I can only assume is the owner, was prompt and professional. He took my payment and he told me he would find me outside and bring me my order when it was complete. Not very long after he brought my order. Mind you, in the midst of this exceptional service was probably as busy as it gets at this location.

Our normal sushi place was closed so we tried Shogun. It was pretty good. Presentation was a bit of a mess. Rolls were good, but a couple tasted like they maybe had mayonnaise? That wasn’t bad per se, but it was kind of strange. Shogun would be fine if our usual place is unavailable for some reason.
