Stopped in for breakfast. Had the B & G. That’s biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns and gravy. The biscuits were perfect and fluffy. Not heavy like some places. The sausage gravy was full of sausage. The gravy was light and didn’t weigh you down. Needed a touch more milk or cream to be perfect. Definitely will be stopping in here again while traveling to Westport or to Forks.

Bloody Mary was great. French dip was good. Service was above average for sure. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Food & drinks were not outrageously priced as mentioned good enough that I would have no issue going back sometime. I’m not someone that frequents bar/grills but this specific day had spent the entire day in Elma and was needing a quick fix after a long unexpected tattoo directly across the street. If stopping thru or looking for a place like this, I’d recommend stopping in to at least try Shujacks out.

This is a nice, cozy, home town feeling restaurant that has pretty good food and service. They are pretty reasonably priced. Their food quality matches the prices. I would recommend not getting any of the fish dishes. The fish was mushy and felt like it was just frozen fish sticks. They’re apparently known for their Philly cheese steak sandwiches. I’m not sure why. They were good, but not outstanding. Breakfast is better than the dinners, in my opinion. We have eaten there a couple of times and will definitely go back if we’re in Elma again.

1st time here, food was good, atmosphere was good. The servers were extremely busy because the holiday bazaar was happening in town. I’ve been to other places when they are this busy, and the customer goes to the counter to order drinks and food. This would have helped. I’d recommend this quaint bar/restaurant and look forward to coming back again.

Overall 5 stars, we came out for breakfast and didn’t realize a car show was going on in town, so it was pretty busy. We only had to wait a couple minutes for a table to open up. Served right away, service was friendly, and food came out fairly quickly considering how busy it was. We had country fried steak, meat lovers scramble, and biscuits and gravy. All were very good, favorite was the biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak, the scramble wasn’t bad at all, the others were really good. We will come back for dinner sometime.

First time being there, it’s been a long rough week, so my little sister and I decided to go get some food, I had a clubhouse with a green salad and she had a BLT with potato salad and they were both delicious. Waitresses were very nice and service was great.

I’ve been here a few times and the food is always good and same with the service. Today I came in with a friend and I had not the greatest experience. We ordered appetizers and drinks and she gave me a different shot than I ordered and had to ask me again about my chaser. We both asked for waters which we never got and then she never ever came back. I believe her name was Jennifer and I know she is young and green, but at least go back to the table. We finally flagged down the other bartender who came on shift and she took over and helped a lot. Food was delicious as always, but servers if you are going to sell you have to talk to the tables.

Shu Jack’s is a great place to gather, talk and just hang out. I meet with friends for lunch on Wednesdays. It is seldom over crowded. The service is friendly even for a bunch of “old veterans” that probably don’t tip as well as we should. I have had several of the menu items and have yet to be disappointed, (except for the calories I take home and then have to work off!)

Truly a hidden gem for us on our route past Elma. We have eaten here twice before and every time the food it excellent and the service even better! I wish we had a great restaurant/bar like this closer to home (Maple Valley).
