The young lady who helped us was so pleasant! And we always love the food. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t get one of those sturdy reusable bags to hold our food. The young lady said they didn’t have any. Please bring them back, SC&B!

Got the Chicken plate dinner white meat with hush puppies, slaw and Brunswick stew……this was the Wilson, NC location and let me tell you that fried chicken was on point and battered to perfection and was moist and juicy ,,,Hush puppies were made up and tasted like something your Grandma would have fed you for a Sunday feast after Church…..and the Slaw was Excellent …..I was impressed with the staff and the place was very clean and bathrooms were clean,..as I was eating noticed that they had employees constantly clean up floors and tables and came over several times to make sure everything was ok with the food and refills…..I would highly recommend this location and hope You Enjoy your meal from here as much as I enjoyed mine.

Have mercy! This was the Best fried chicken I’ve had, and the baked beans with meat in it, oh yum!! The hush puppies were awesome! Hubby had the bbq, he said it was delicious! It was a very clean place and the music wasn’t blaring in our ears as other restaurants tend to do. I’ll be back for sure, whenever I’m in Wilson again! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

We had an unexpected family member loss and we had a house full of relatives. I contact Smithfield for assistance with catering and they were very accommodating. They help us with chicken, hushpuppies, coleslaw, tea, and baked beans.

The food is good but a little overpriced when compared to other BBQ restaurants in the area. BBQ sandwich, fries and tea was almost $11. Can get the same thing at Marty’s or Parker’s for less money.
