I’ve lived 8 minutes from here all my life and have never stopped in because of some of the reviews I had read.. I’m not sure if it’s new owners, staff or just Karen’s finding something to complain about but I had an amazing experience here and food was awesome! Everything was so hot I could barely eat it when it came out. Meat was very tender and juicy. Some good BBQ for a good price compared to most BBQ places around Monroe county. Don’t knock it till you try it I guess..

We ordered beef brisket, pork brisket and Mac n cheese. The brisket were good but a little on dry side. The Mac n cheese was amazing. Thank you for the great experience of Tennessee brisket. Oh almost forgot. Try the vinegar sauce even if you don’t like vinegar based sauce. It has a great flavor.

The portions were large enough that my friend and I shared a 2 meat combo with 2 sides and we both had plenty. The ribs were ok but nothing to write home about. Being from Oklahoma I guess I’m spoiled with access to great BBQ. Liked the mac & cheese. The best part of the meal was the ice cream.

I have eaten from this restaurant 4 times now and each and every time the food was fabulous and the staff was as sweet as they could be. This is a very good affordable place to eat. They have the best fried pickles I have ever had. Their pulled pork is also fabulous…It is all good!! I hope this place stays open for a very long time to come
