The owner is a super friendly nice guy who really wants to please. I had the gyro & the meat was not bad but not the best. I have to realize this is not authentic Greek & will try other sandwiches that will be like Chicago style. I had a real taste for egg rolls but there were none left. Hubby had the chicken with banana peppers, angry bird. He really enjoyed it. All in all it’s a good spot & has lots of choices. We will come back for sure

Walked in told the guys I had never been there before and they were quick to help me with the menu, they showed me what they had and asked how I heard about the place, which was just by me passing by headed home. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and when I say this thing is phenomenal im not lying! I haven’t had a cheesesteak like this since the street carts in Philly! Just amazing! I will definitely be back and look forward to trying their BBQ Saturday!

Food was delicious though a bit pricey. I do recommend the Capone. Today’s offerings were Chicago style hoagies, chips and drinks. Place was jumping as a result of WLOX doing a feature on them the day before. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, today the husband was on his own. I would suggest they give the place a once over before opening as restroom was out of paper towels and 2 out of 3 tables needed to be wiped off.

I have been to smoke n hoagies twice in the past week. Let me tell y’all! Hands down BEST CHICKEN PHILLY I’ve ever had. The gentleman working the grill there is so friendly and professional! You can tell he genuinely wants you to enjoy his food. I can not recommend this place or their food enough!

I finally got a chance to grab a hoagie from here last week, and I was incredibly disappointed… That I waited this long to try Smoke-n-Hoagies. I had the spicy Capone, which contains ham, roast beef, turkey, and chicken. It had the perfect amount of toppings, not too many toppings to convince you that excess equals quality, but not a stingy amount as well. All of the flavors were well balanced, and worked together well. Bonus, it wasn’t so over topped that it just fell apart.

Smoken! One of the best hoagies I’ve had since the closing of the Hoagie House. Many years ago. These guys really know how a hoagie should be. Chicago style. My wife once lived in Chicago years ago and she was excited to try them. She said it brought back memories. The first hoagie I tried was their Philly cheese it was better than Tony’s. I’ve tried the Italian Philly it was fantastic. Next I’m going to try their Italian beef.

smells so weird it reeks of the nail salon next door and something else unpleasant. jamaican decor everywhere even though its supposed to be a chicago place?? says chicago hot dogs right on the front and didnt have any hot dogs. theres barely anywhere to sit too. food wasnt that good and they dont even have fries. they dont display prices anywhere so you just get a surprise. i just dont like this place and wont come back.
