My partner and I sat at the bar on Saturday July 22nd with Kay as our bartender. Kay was very knowledgeable about the beer and was really friendly while we were there! There was an issue with a tap for a beer we ordered but Kay gave us the heads up there would be a small delay. The glass was clean! I can’t undersell how important that is- when you get a craft beer in a clean glass. The environment is bright and we’ll definitely be back to check out the happy hour. Good beer selection, large food menu, friendly staff!

Dropping by to leave 5 stars because we were so impressed. Came in for a quick bite and a beer( Saturday 8/26)- ended up staying all night. Mike was our server and he is just awesome:) The service was fast and the food was great! The musician playing had a really amazing voice and a cool catalog of songs. Everyone was singing along in there by the end- it was serious fun! Thank You!

I’ve had two visits here: one, the Social House, two, Velocity Wings. First trip: Went to grab a burger with a friend. Was greeted by a kind hostess in what was essentially an empty dining room. After about a 5 minute wait (yes, 5 minutes), someone came to take our drink order and food order – didn’t write it down, just memorized it (a burger and chicken &waffles). After that, it took about 15 minutes to bring them to us (just beers on tap). After that, another 30 minutes passed and still no food; not even a check up from a server. So I walked to the kitchen area where there were four teens sitting around and explained we were still waiting on food. The young man rushed off with concern and returned to tell me our order was never placed. So, he put in the ticket and another 20 minutes passed before our food came. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. I came to find out later that the guy who took out order originally was the manager. THE MANAGER. Fast forward a few weeks, and I went to order Velocity Wings, as it was Wednesday and the Ashburn location advertised half off. Worth a shot. I went and spoke with the same, kind hostess took my order and I paid. I ran an errand at Harris Teeter and came back to retrieve my order, but in grabbing the receipt, I noticed they charged me full price. I raised this with the hostess and she was surprised and went to speak with her manager. She returned to tell me the half off was for dine in only, to which I said I wouldn’t have ordered them and asked to speak to the manager. She went back again, and I was able to see where she went – in the kitchen area, where the manager, the same guy who didn’t place my food order on the first visit, gave her a shrug and walked off. The hostess apologized but offered no reconciliation to the mistake. If I wasn’t hungry, I would have asked for a refund and just left the food there. Brought the wings home, they smelled and looked great: the wings are good sized and there were big carrots and celery, which is rare. But the flavor (tossed, hot) was extremely lacking. I supplemented with hot sauce to give flavor. All in all, I’ll never go back to this establishment; kinda because the food was average at best, but mostly because the service is awful.

Great local bar! Bartenders were so nice and professional. Shout out to Jesse and Taz who provided exceptional service! The pork belly shareable was SO good, definitely recommend it! Many great beer choices. Ashburn is lucky to have you Social House! We will definitely be back!

Don’t do it. I know you think this place might be worth a try because you are hungry, but it isn’t. Service is horrible and slow. Drinks take 10 min minutes. Food takes longer and is most likely wrong. Save your money and run over to the grocery store in the same shopping center and buy the food you want to eat. Then take it home and cook it. You will be so much better off. If you do go, set your expectations low and don’t have anything else scheduled for the night.

Great atmosphere, great service, fabulous food and a lot of great drink optios!. So excited to have a new pub option nearby! Our salads were awesome…bite size pieces (I love this in a salad) , lightly dressed and tasty. We shared the loaded grill cheese and it did not disappoint. Already looking forward to our next visit amd trying more items on the menu.

I come here once a week each (ish) the day is random based on my work schedule but never fails to deliver. The bartender I had. She has been here on slow days busy days. This lady knows how to run the bar…..and quite frankly the restaursnt. Was here on a busy day and she made things happen……all night. Get this woman promoted. You’ll lose her if you don’t.
