Food was absolutely DE LICI OUS!!!! 10 Out of 10 for sure. Portion sizes were well worth the money. I do recommend you take out. You can dine in. However, the space is a bit cramped. There is no wait staff. But other than that. Like I said, 10 out of 10. Make sure you get an UPTOWN drink and cornbread. You will not regret it.

I drove 30 minutes from Easton PA to Stroudsburg PA, looking for a semi decent soulfood place because, unfortunately, there aren’t any good places to get that southern home cooking until I found this gem of a place. Me and my girlfriend drove 45 mins just because we wanted some real soulfood. Went easter Sunday surprised they were open til 8. I got the fried fish dinner with the Mac n yams and she had the shrimp dinner with the same and added the cornedbread and a small thing of potato salad. Everything was amazing and you could tell it was made that day and not made a few days ago and just reheating. I highly recommend coming here and getting this amazing food

The food is absolutely delicious, hot, and well worth the money. I have been looking for some place with flavourful food and look no further. We tried almost everything off the menu. Some favorites were the Mac and cheese, corn bread, the chicken and the candied yams.

I added an updated menu. The food was delicious! The yams were amazing & the sweet & spicy wings were great too. The mac was really cheesy but still really good & the catfish needed more seasoning but they were ok. I’d definitely go back/recommend this spot.

The food was amazing. I had the fish and my husband had turkey chops. Mac & cheese, candied yams and greens for sides were all very tasty. Large slices of cakes for desserts. The staff was friendly. I called to place the order in advance and picked up. I’ll definitely eat here again.
