If you are looking for a good soul food restaurant to eat at Southern cafe East is it. I ordered the colossal shrimp po boy, and fried mushrooms. The shrimp was so good and crunchy all I could do is close my eyes, and shake my head. Every time I took a bite I seen stars lol. Honestly this place is the Bomb friendly atmosphere and the cashiers attitude SUPERB excellent customer service. My family and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners they held a conversation with us as if we were family awesome people to be around. I highly recommend Southern Cafe East. We will be back

The food and the service was excellent. We were greeted as sone as we walked in. We were given samples of different side dishes. They also have TV’s at every table for you to watch while you wait for your food and while you are eating. The food was delicious and even though the food was a little high it is definitely worth it.

I was very happy with my order placed through Grub Hub from Southern Cafe East. I ordered the Rib Dinner, and it was just delicious ! The meat was grilled and cooked through and tender. The ribs were so meaty. The sauce was was nice with a little kick. I loved the hand cut French fries, which were fresh and crisp. The coleslaw was ok, could add some Marzetti’s for more flavor. Overall, a great meal, lots of food and great price. !

Ordered the rib snack and polish boy. It was great! The sauce Wes just right. Not too spicy, sweet, just right. The ribs were very tender. Polish boy was appropriately messy ( if you know a good polish boy, you know what I mean). They also serve fresh cut fries. This elevates the quality of the meal so much!! Wish more places did that. I will definitely order again.

The food was great! They gave you plenty of food and everything tasted amazing. The woman who hoped us was pleasant and friendly. Definitely recommend! We had the chicken, mac and cheese, greens, baked beans and potatoe salad.

This store can do better with space and organization of their table and chairs. Also, the door entrance to the store is very cluttered with couch chairs that are not being used. The food smells very good and taste good too. The place for the most part is pretty clean. If, You like or love Southern home style cooking this is a very good place to visit.
