Overall it was just…..okay. The waitress came up but never told us her name so I’m not sure but you could tell she cared more about serving the “regulars” over us. I got the Reuben, it was okay but I thought the combo of having both thousand island and mustard on the sandwich was odd, and also the corned beef looked and tasted more like well done roast beef. Myself and my child had food left and I asked the waitress if I could have to go boxes to which I was told “nope, no ma’am sorry” when I just 20 minutes prior watched her give three boxes to the table behind us. But like I said they were regulars that she was chatting up and barely even came to our table to see if we were good with everything. Definitely doesn’t make you want to try it again.

So awesome! My daughter has had Mono for two weeks and can’t eat anything too hard and crunchy. So I asked if they could make her a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy with chicken tenders and cheese, ( yes I know it’s a ripoff of KFC), but tastes way better and they made it perfectly. Thanks guys for your awesome job. You are much appreciated!

Food was cold, no flavor, forgot my banana pudding, gave salad with no dressing. Ordered pot roast they gave canned beef stew over rice waste of money. NO SEASONING

Great service, the food was tasty and the portions were good sized. If you leave here hungry it’s your fault. Had the Liver and onions and it was like Grandma made.

Great little lunch spot. Food is definitely “comfort food”. More than a meat & 3 type restaurant. Sandwiches are fresh, and portions are generous. Can’t go wrong at the Spice!

Stopped by today at 1:00 pm. Lunch hour on a Saturday. 80% of all empty tables filled with dirty dishes. People coming in and nasty tables everywhere. It would have taken every bit of ten minutes to clean them up. Four workers just standing around the counter. No wonder the Mexican restaurants do so well. There will perhaps be one here when this place goes under. After sitting there 20 minutes with no one to bother to wait on us we left. Pathetic way to run a restaurant. While we sat there at least four other groups came in with our sane problem. Doesn’t matter much about the food if the place nasty and one can’t get waited on.

Love love love this place. Most wonderful find at five forks in Simpsonville! Delicious comfort food. Great service and very friendly staff. I highly recommended the chicken bearnaise! The broccoli and cheese is amazing! I can’t wait to go back!
