I heard through the grapevine about Standard Oyster and had to check it out for myself. Let me tell You, their selection of Oysters are so fresh that you’ll think you’re on the Coast and a boat just brought them in. Excellent Food and even more Excellent Service/Staff. Do yourself a favor and don’t sleep on this place.

We are always excited to eat at Standard Oyster Company — especially during The Queens Feast. Tonight had several standouts. The poke appetizer was delicious and was a generous portion so I didn’t mind sharing with my husband. He enjoyed the Surf & Turf with ribs and stuffed crab. And I was delighted with my Scallops served atop risotto with preserved lemon and chef’s salsa verde – which had the freshness of a chimichurri and was a garlic-lover’s dream. We finished the meal off with the Key Lime Pie — also delicious.

Definitely a “hidden gem”!! We went on a Monday for endless crab legs, and drove an hour to get there. Very much worth the trip! All our food was great and the service was exceptional! Will absolutely visit there again!!

My favorite local spot to stop by for a beer and some quality seafoods. The prices are a little high but the happy hours and daily deals are good times to check out this place. I definitely liked the older version of their Lobster Sliders better—not a fan of the new one. They always have a great selection of raw oysters and that’s the main reason I stop here. The shrimps are sometimes good, other times not much. The staff is very nice and friendly. My favorite is Sherry. She is very attentive, kind, and always take care of us very well!

Went here for the broiled seafood and oysters but was honestly disappointed. From the reviews I thought the food was going to be amazing and the staff was great. When entering, my bf and I are relatively young, the server did not come across as polite and when placing orders for drinks when we said we did not want alcohol he gave us an unpolite look. The broil was severely over cooked, crab meat stuck to the shell, shrimp were really chewy. The oysters we received were not cleaned well, had pieces of sand in every other one of them that was not too appetizing. I really wanted to give this place a shot but we left hungry, I love broils but this missed the mark.

What a great little spot! I started off with raw oysters and man they were so good. Next I had the Tuna Tataki and it was delicious. Had a really great experience at the Standard Oyster Company, will definitely go back next time I am in town.
