The sushi here is phenomenal! So fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful in making choices. I deducted one star from atmosphere just because it gets packed. You couldn’t call this place relaxing. Except to say that the sushi is soo good that it transports you to heaven. Please try this place!

I’m surprised about the serving size, I didn’t expect they will serve this much. All these we paid around $50 and these is good for 3 people (Ordered number 2, 8, and 24) The food is incredibly good and satisfying. We might go eat here again whenever we visit Longbeach.

Been coming here for maybe 15 years now, since i was a kid. Never been disappointed with the combos, and the dragon roll is fairly impressive, though otherwise generally just decent semi fast food. Plates are usually well portioned and the prices are generally fair. I typically go for the various bento boxes when I’m looking for a quick and calorie dense meal to get me through work, and it seems the local PD has the same idea as they often show up for a meal when off duty.

Great food, informal ambiance and fast customer service. This restaurant has been in business for what it seems like an eternity but the quality hasn’t changed. The servings have gotten a bit smaller though, but that’s everywhere now with the inflation.

I love this place! First time here and I got the #6. Salmon teriyaki, mixed tempura, salad, and substitute the tuna for California rolls. I have to say I don’t usually like the salad dressing at most places but Sushi West salad dressing is delicious. I would go just for that, but the tempura was perfect and Salmon was cooked perfectly. The guy at the counter was very nice and helpful. Small restaurant, excellent service, and delicious food! What’s not to love?

14 dollars for a few pieces of fish that are room temperature?? And the most disgusting egg rolls i have ever seen! Falling apart because they are so wet and mushy. I will NEVER go back there again. What a disappointment. I feel like i just got robbed. Thank goodness for the pile of lettuce they gave me or i wouldn’t have any thing to eat. I just paid 25 bucks for lettuce.

Good place to get some sushi. We’ve never had a bad experience here. The service is friendly and the food is fresh. The dining area is small but clean and they are always busy but the wait isn’t to long.

Are you looking for a quick lunch spot in the Bixby Knolls Neighborhood? Check out the Sushi West Restaurant in the City of Long Beach, California. Sushi West is located on Atlantic Avenue near Carson Street in the same shopping center as Edgar & James Goodwill Specialty Store & Donation Center. Sushi West is open 7 days a week, Monday- Friday from 11 am-9 pm with Saturday and Sunday from 11:30-9:00 pm. No indoor or outdoor dining so it’s just take-out or on-line orders. Also, they’re only allowing one customer per party in the store at this time.
