5⭐food rating: this detour off I-70 was well worth supporting this Black-owned Business. Ordered ahead and food was ready upon arrival in 25mins. Sweet aroma upon entry gave a preview that did not disappoint. We carried out our food as we were passing through to get back on the road. I had the catfish dinner with mac & yams…all the and well (not overly) seasoned as I’d like. One (good) problem, the portion sizes were very generous and we weren’t able to finish all this goodness in one sitting. Hubby had the catfish dinner with fried okra & fries, described the fish as heavy and fresh. Came with 2pc fish each. A can soda with each dinner was also a pleasant surprise. Lots of bang for our buck. Don’t sleep on Sweets.

I enjoyed the level of professionalism and community pride I experienced when I walked through the door, placed my order and ate in. I would definitely recommend the red snapper dinner at the Taste o’ Jamaica! They feed you right at The Munchin Buddha. My only slight is that the sides to my wing dinner were a bit too salty. Overall the price and the food was right!!! Definitely will be coming back

The owner is so sweet! The food is very very good! The chicken wings, they don’t even need any sauce! I had it with the lemon pepper seasoning and baby! It was delicious! I also had mac & cheese and fried cauliflower! Both delicious! We will definitely be back and may have to order some wings for my vow renewal! Thank you soooo much! Stopped in with a friend, had a beer, they didn’t have any of the beers we like. We did not order any food but the kitchen was very busy. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the familiar faces. I plan to check them out again soon…you should too!
